It's a great board
Pros: Worked right out of box - Using Intel Core 2 Duo 8400 CPU, Azus 8600GT 256 MB Vid card - Mushkin (2 x 2GB) DDR2 1066 - #996599 memory (Note: one needs to manually set memory in BIOS to: 5-5-5-15 at 2.0v - the default setting initially is 5-7-7-24 at 1.8v)
Cons: Would like to have had eight (8) SATA ports - I'm running three (3) WD 500 GB SATA drives, one (1) SATA DVD/CD burner, and two (2) external eSATA ports so all six (6) ports are used. I have one external eSATA port that I can not hook up. But I knew that when I bought board - but still believe this board should have eight (8) SATA ports.
Overall Review: This build is for my home/office and my wife's computerized embroidery/sewing designs. Will use an HP 2065 monitor which I just ordered from Newegg the other day.
GE 29267GE1 Caller ID phone
Pros: Caller ID is great, 10 Memory storage is great.
Cons: 1) Both the line cord and the handset cord are "hard wired" to the base. 2) While the "hard wired" line cord is not a big deal, the "hard wired" handset cord is. 3) The handset cord is very short and there is no way to install a longer handset cord other than to open phone up and unsolder the connections and solder a longer handset cord back in. 4) All phones that I have seen in the past did not have "hard wired" line or handset cords, but had plug-in jacks for installing longer cords.
Overall Review: 1) Bought three from NewEgg. No way to return under present policy. 2) Requires batteries to power unit instead of converter. 3) I would not recommend this phone because of the inability to install a longer handset cord.
