ASUS 23" 2ms (GTG)
Pros: A year later, I buy a second one. This is a fantastic monitor! One more computer, the other for Ps3. It really has helped improved my gameplay and it looks great through DVI. No dead pixels, and works perfectly. The 1080 resolution works well. Highly recommended and will buy again.
Cons: The sound is a bit low, but I am also able to watch HD tv through the HDMI slot. Wish it had a remote.
Overall Review: ASUS rocks!
Pros: Works magnificently. Not a major gamer, but it does work well with games such as Left 4 Dead 2 and Team Fortress 2. Gives off decent amount of FPS for the price you pay. Plus, helps plays 1080p videos great! Haven't tried the HDMI or VGA slots, but the DVI is wonderful.
Cons: If you're looking for a card to handle lots of graphics intensive programs, you might be better getting something more expensive, depending on what resolution you're running. I run on a 1080p monitor and it's not the best, but it does what I need for the most part.
Overall Review: The cooler on the graphics card definitely works for me. It's better than the fan on my 8500 GT and that ran hot. I give it a 5/5 since I bought this card and knew what I was expecting. It surpassed my expectations. ASUS makes quality products!
Enermax Phoenix Neo
Pros: Amazing case! Lots of rooms for mobo and drives. The fan works well and moves a good amount of air. It can push air into the air, or pull it out. The blue LED lights are a plus, and they can be switched on or off. Got it with a $50 mail in rebate. Haven't gotten it yet, but hopefully will in the next several weeks.
Cons: A bit heavy. The clamps in the back for the PCI slots do not work well with some products.
Overall Review: Never used an Enermax product before, until I saw this case. Highly recommended!
Artic Cooling Freezer 64 on AM3 Mobo
Pros: Works wonderful. Quiet. Keeps my AMD Phenom II 555 cool under 48C on load. Under 40C usually. 4 pins.
Cons: Took over half-hour to install. Clip was annoying.
Overall Review: Took off one egg because it was incredibly hard putting the fan on and no free shipping when I bought it. Other than that, it works splendid.
AMD Phenom II x2 555
Pros: Great speed. Cheap price. Works wonderful! Free shipping.
Cons: More pricey than the 550. Gamble on unlocking.
Overall Review: Runs cool under 40C usually. Around 47C max on load. Was able to unlock extra cores and OC to 3.8 ghz stable. Highly recommended! AMD for budget, Intel for higher class. Another note - Took forever for AMD to get these CPUs to AMD. Had me checking NewEgg every day for three weeks, haha.
