Pros: Great ventilation. Lots of room. I installed an additional 140mm exhaust fan on top and it blows that hot air right out of the case. I will install another one shortly. I like the hot swap bays. I also like the mesh front bay covers. Both sides are removable which makes the case easy to work with. I fit a HD 7870 real easily.
Overall Review: When I turned it on the front fan made a terrible sound, I thought RMA. But I discovered that the whole front plastic cover is removable... you just pull it forward and it slides off with a little force. The fan screen had bumped loose (probably during transit) and I pushed it back into its clips and the problem was solved. I was unhappy with my other case due to standing heat and so I got a case that can breath a bit. I recommend this case... especially for 30 bucks after rebate.
Pros: Well built. I like the results with BF4 and SH5. With a stock configuration the card is undetectable at idle. Fast delivery and low price. The software (MSI Afterburner) is actually really nice, it gives me info like GPU temp and fan speed in the tray as well as on screen. Upgrade from a broken 4890 and what a difference. It is very powerful. Installed easily of course. It felt solid when I picked it up. Low price. I am really happy.
Cons: I've never had the ability to see my temps and fan speed so now I am paranoid about the card being to hot, it is currently at 38 degrees idle after some BF4. When I first installed it I was running at 35 degrees, but with almost three years on the warranty I'm not concerned with anything and I'm not an overclocker so I expect it will last.
Overall Review: My system specs are approximate.
Phenom II x3 unlocked to x4
GSkill ddr3 1333 16GB
SB XFI extreme music
Corsair 650 watt P/S
Pros: Two of the 4 sticks wouldn't work in my computer but I'm not upset. I am really writing about the two working sticks. These are very nice and fast my computer was up and running in no time (after I identified the failing sticks). Great memory at a great price.
Cons: No cons and no regrets
Overall Review: I'm surprised my cholesterol is so low with all the bad food I eat.
Pros: Assembled my computer with no problems. It runs well and I am happy with it.
Overall Review: Some of the G. Skill memory I got was messed up but other than that it was a breeze to work with.
Pros: Nice key action. Comfortable size (I'm 5'6''). Gaming keys on left side are well laid out. Profiles in Z-Engine are usefull. Well constructed. Tiltable. Low price. It only took awhile to memorize the new layout but that's just me.
Cons: None really.
Overall Review: This is a great keyboard
Pros: Nice look and it has little stands underneath in the back which I like. It has a volume wheel which I grew fond of on my last G15 and can't get by without. The wheel works well and is a real plus, more keyboards need that feature.
Cons: It's a little small and I still, occasionally, hit the wrong letter. Not a rea; problem.
Overall Review: I like it and I would get it again.
Pros: Total protection/Price
Cons: It seems to be rathy jerky this year. I had CA last year and it worked fine right from the start. Well this is a new computer and I am still working out some flaws, maybe things will get better however I read some reviews because I couldn't believe I was having a hard time and it didn't get such high reviews......
Overall Review: If you freeze peanut butter it wont spread so easy.
Pros: It is loaded. Nice blue "power on " indicator light. Easy to install. Pretty much all the card slots I want and a USB port.
Cons: It is currently recognized by my OS as an external device. Last time this happened it was my h/d and I had to rearrange things inside to get proper operation. I'm sure it's me or my system.
Overall Review: It is currently installed but unplugged because of the annoying external quirk. One day I'll make some adjustment and it will integrate just fine. I like it. I recommend it.
Pros: It seems not to heat up like my old P/S, however it was overburdened. It has a bunch of connectors and plenty of power... I may even crossfire one day.
Pros: The cpu works and hasn't presented any problems. It seems to be fast in comparison to my P4.
Pros: It works without a hitch.
Pros: Instantly recognized and fast.
Cons: Kinda spendy... even with the rebate
Pros: Fast and rated well on my Vista ... a 5.9 . My mobo recognized it instantly and it installed in my toolless case fast .
Cons: OEM. A manual would be nice and so would a bottom cover. I've never installed a HD into a toolless case before and my case didn't give directions either... so I took the clip that attaches to the HD and I placed around the inside of the tray and discovered that it slides between these dimple/holes so I then stuck 'em on the drive and slipped it in. Viola. Fini.
Overall Review: Lotsa room, fast, fits perfectly and is by WD.
Pros: Installed easily and fit well. It operates well and seems quick compared to my other drive which makes sense.
Overall Review: It comes with a cable, some screws Nero Essentials. My case is toolless so I'll stash the screws for a rainy day... my mobo came with a nicer cable so I'll save that too and Nero will be installed but might be useless.
Pros: The case arrived in great condition. The two side panels open and are removable to facilitate assembly of your computer. The toolless design allows for rapid assembly. Features like this will undoubtably spoil you. The case looks awesome too. Newegg is great. Raidmax is great. I recommend this case to all. The overall construction of this case is durable in my opinion, it weighs over 25 lbs shipped. I am still assembling my rig because of a sudden thunderstorm and I haven't actually finished building so I can't comment on the fans and stuff but I am so stoked I'll probably burst into flames.
Cons: The instruction manual is a little light but I figured out how to remove the HDD tray. I also had to examine the hinges on the side doors to figure out how they remove do to fear of breaking something. No problem just pull up and the hingey "pin" slides up and out.
Overall Review: If you want a case that is easy to work with then this is a great deal, especially with instant rebates and MIR. You can't lose.
Pros: The card arrived on time and installed flawlessly. It is quiet most of the time and has great graphics performance.
Cons: HIS doesn't have a forum at their website unlike other mfgs', also their drivers aren't up to date so I installed the latest from ATI.
Overall Review: It is quite long and real heavy, WOW. Most of the time I don't hear the fan and when I do it's not real loud. I RMAd' a 1950 Pro because it wasn't what I thought and I ordered this to replace it, what a great decision. I will never regret getting this card. Everything about it is a plus. If you don't care about price then I recommend an XTX.
Pros: I got the card in three days. The card installed easily and so did the drivers. I've only looked at some of my game titles during play and there is a dramatic improvement over my x1300.
Cons: Unless there is something different about my motherboard or i'm crosseyed this card squeezed out a pci slot by being to wide, but only a 1/16 of an inch or so. I'll look at it in a couple of days but I don't think I could even put a plug in that slot. The card is louder than my x1300, but not enough to cause any questions.
Overall Review: It arrived in three days. I'll most likely do business with Newegg again. It was worth the money but I wished I would've ordered the 1950xt instead. In three more years I'll probably order most of a system from Newegg.
