Lots to offer!

ASRock H77M-ITX LGA 1155 Intel H77 HDMI SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 Mini ITX Intel Motherboard

Pros: This is a fantastic product! I don't understand some of the negative reviews given to this product; if you understand (and subsequently, are okay with) the inherent limitations of the M-ITX form factor, than it's hard to knock the many features and value this board provides. The biggest wins are PCIe 3.0 and standard USB 3.0 support. This was my first custom PC build in over 7 years, and it's incredible how much technology can be packed into less than 49 sq. inches. The UEFI is also quite good! -------------------------------------- See "Other thoughts" for the rig's full specs. --------------------------------------

Cons: Nada

Overall Review: I've created a MINI MONSTER: -------------------------------------- Silverstone SG05BB-450W Mini-ITX Case ASRock H77M-ITX Motherboard Team 16GB DDR3 (PC3 10600) RAM HIS Radeon HD 7850 2GB -------------------------------------- The Xeon E3-1230 pairs perfectly with the H77 chipset, as both are limited in their overclocking ability. I'm more than okay with all the stock speeds I'm getting, and the OEM fan Intel provided keeps the processor sufficiently cool.

Constant overheating

GIGABYTE Radeon X800XL 256MB GDDR3 PCI Express x16 Video Card GV-RX80L256V

Comments: Overheats constantly after only about 20 minutes of gaming. I got it in hopes of keeping my new Shuttle Sn25P from having to get any louder. Everyone else's review seemed to indicate that overheating on this card wouldn't need to be a concern...however, I keep the case off my shuttle AND keep it running in a cool basement. I just gave up and eventually put a stand alone fan directly on the back heatpipe and that has seemed to clear up my overheating problems. Oh well. P.S.: I praise Newegg over and over for its speedy shipping! May it never cease! Newegg rocks!

Guild Wars 2

HIS Radeon HD 7850 2GB GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0 x16 CrossFireX Support Video Card H785F2G2M

Pros: Plays Guild Wars 2 quite well out-of-the-box. Plays Guild Wars 2 as smooth as butter when overclocked. See "CONS" for more details.

Cons: I bought this for a rig I built specifically to play Guild Wars 2. Unfortunately, in order to get a steady 60 FPS with the near-highest visual settings, the card has to be overclocked: GW2 SETTINGS, ONLY WHEN OVERCLOCKED (Avg. 60 FPS): - - - - Shadows: ULTRA Sampling: Normal V-Sync: ON Everything else MAX'ed, - - - - If NOT OVERCLOCKED, "Shadows" need to be knocked back to "HIGH" (nets an addition 5 - 10 FPS). This will happen if you select "Auto-Detect", which averages between 45 - 60 FPS. Still, this is very much above-average visual quality. Note: It has been been noted that GW2's framerate could be very CPU dependent. I'm using an Intel XEON E3-1230 v2, "Ivy-Bridge" proc., 3.3GHz. It's doesn't support overclocking, but it's more than enough processing power for this game.

Overall Review: You get what you pay for. I feel that I'm getting my money worth out of this card.

Fantastic Gaming CPU

Intel Xeon E3-1230 V2 Ivy Bridge 3.3GHz (3.7GHz Turbo) 4 x 256KB L2 Cache 8MB L3 Cache LGA 1155 69W BX80637E31230V2 Server Processor

Pros: Great price/performance balance. I bought this for a new gaming PC and it has exceeded every expectation I've had! I've read that this CPU doesn't give much in the way of overclocking, so pair this with a H77 motherboard (which has limited overclocking ability). Support for PCIe 3.0 and USB 3.0 is a huge win.

Overall Review: I've created a MINI MONSTER: -------------------------------------- Silverstone SG05BB-450W Mini-ITX Case ASRock H77M-ITX Motherboard Team 16GB DDR3 (PC3 10600) RAM HIS Radeon HD 7850 2GB -------------------------------------- Absolutely phenomenal CPU choice for the price; a real gamer's CPU. I can't say enough good things about this product. Consider this as an alternative to the i7's if you know that you're going to be running a dedicated GPU.

Incredible Processor for the price!!!!

Comments: I was, at first, a little skeptical of the performance of this processor. For the first week, I had it overcloked @ 2.2, though it was causing quite abit of problems. After clocking it down, I was still feeling that it wasn't living up to the hype. But all my doubts were annihilated the moment I brought Quake 4 home. This thing played all my Family Guy episodes in WinAmp (in fullscreen on a secondary display) AND Quake 4 in all its glory without the slightest bit of slowdown from either. HIGHLY RECOMMENED!
