Pros: Top notch feature set including PCIE-4, two thunderbolt 3 ports, USB-C headers, a ton of other I/O for peripherals, and even capable of RGB (if you're into that sort of thing). Not DOA and the chipsets fan is inaudible under my desk after using the auto fan tune utility built into the BIOS. It has a debug led and bios reset switch. Ready for third gen 5000 series, which I'll be trying to get on launch.
Cons: G.SKILL Ripjaws V Series 128GB will not run at 3600 with xmp/docp or manual timings. The includes thunderbolt drivers don't work at all! Took me weeks of research to find a working driver to connect my audio interface. It has a chipset fan. The I/O shield is not integrated, which it should be at this price point
Overall Review: Fractal 7 white tempered glass
R5 3600 w/stock cooler (for now...)
Dark Rock Pro 4 (for later...)
G.SKILL Ripjaws V Series 128GB
Radeon 5600xt (for now...)
3x 24in 1920x1200 60hz (for now...)
Pros: All 128gb recognized by my x570 creator board with my r5 3600 at 3200
Cons: Will not post at 3600 at all. Not compatible with ryzen calculator due to wrong type of hynix memory.
Overall Review: I'm happy with the capacity as it will enable me to use a lot of VSTs without glitches or pops at super low latency with my thunderbolt interface but you get what you pay for by using cheaper ram chips. They probably need to change the advertised speed on these modules. Might try two sticks to see if they're able to reach 3600
Pros: it works. it's decently long. it seems sturdy enough for my use of plugging it in and leaving it until i move again
Cons: none so far.
Overall Review: it's a six foot thunderbolt cable that allowed me to hook up my audio interface to a T3 adapter also from startech and then to my x570 creator motherboard to make music in my home studio. did its job which is what i hoped it would do, nothing more, nothing less.
Pros: Converts T3 to T2 to work with devices that don't use the usb-c connection for thunderbolt
Cons: Compatibility issues abound when it comes to thunderbolt chipsets and drivers issues. Dug around for hours until I finally found a working driver to get my audio interface to show up with thunderbolt on my Asrock x570 creator board with onboard T3. Ymmv but perhaps I'm one of the lucky ones
Overall Review: Does its job
Pros: Small dimensions with a full ATX build.
Easy to work in
Great cooling ability easily improved with more fans
Cons: Wish it had side panel attachment like the define 7 series
Need slightly stronger magnets for the top filter to keep it in place better
Wanted it in white but couldn't justify the extra expense
Overall Review: My lady loves her new build in it and could not be happier. She games on it constantly and couldn't believe I built her such a nice machine for not a lot of coin
Pros: Easy to work in.
Very modular and adaptable.
Love the ease of assembling my latest build.
Glad it has usb-c built in
Tool-less side panels
Cons: Thumb screws for HDD cage and rear IO were super tight
Price drop right after I bought it
Overall Review: This is my second of three fractal cases I've had and they're all great. Glad I used this case for my x570 as that chipset cooling fan is annoying when the side panel is off and I couldn't imagine dealing with it in a case less focused on silence
Pros: Already comes with the updated bios. Installed without any issues and puts out excellent graphics at 1080p though I haven't really pushed it.
Cons: None so far. Not a fan of the boring red glow. Would rather have nothing or RGB
Overall Review: Bought this based on recommendations by gamers nexus for it's thermal prowess and performance. Still awaiting next gen to really flesh out this build asi plan to use it for a very long time
Pros: i'm sure the ram is great and would have sped up my processing time on my FX6100 system and allowed me to play certain games without the nagging low memory message
Cons: didn't get to enjoy it because my power supply took out everything but my hdds from that build and left me stranded without my desktop for over a month.
Overall Review: buy it if you need it. wish i could have enjoyed it and my older computer a bit longer so i could have waited out the 4000 series release
Pros: Gives me enough processing power to have a working computer again while I wait for the 4000 series to release
Cons: Thermal paste on the cooler is pretty garbage but that's true most of the time
Overall Review: This will be moved to my new media server build once I have my new processor for my DAW build. I'm happy with its performance for now
Pros: Great, quiet cooling. What else could one ask for from a fan?
Moves a hurricane of air and keeps my CPU on chill.
Cons: None since i've owned them
Overall Review: these are my second pair of these fans. i liked them so much on my previous build, i decided to get some more to replace the noisy scythe fans on my older computer. all you hear is the whoosh of air flowing through the cooling fins and it's air flow you can definitely feel. These will stick around for future rebuilds i'm sure
Pros: Fast and low power for a laptop. Using this in my portable DAW laptop and it loads my sounds super quick.
Cons: None so far. These things are always hit or miss as far as longevity so time will tell.
Overall Review: Five year warranty for registering is really nice but I hope I won't have to use it any time soon
Pros: Cheap aluminum case
Docking Station (no problems lining up connections for me)
Fast shipping (as always, thanks newegg!)
Cons: had constant problems with reading when attached to my car stereo. verified the hdd was not the problem multiple times. even pulled the drive from the case and stuck in my computer to check function. drive would push two or three songs for my stereo then revert to reading before an error message would flash. also needed a 'y' cable to get it to work aside from directly in my computer.
Overall Review: bought another enclosure from kingwin and has been smooth sailing this far. guess i should have spent a bit more on something else for my needs. just glad i've got my setup working the way i wanted it to from the start....take old unused drive, insert in enclosure, load full of music, profit! not so much with this one.
Pros: burns fast and quiet
Overall Review: would buy again to replace one of my other drives. much quieter than my optiarc. kinda wish i went sata instead though, no biggie
Pros: powers my stuff
Cons: cable management (what can you do if you don't go modular) at least the excess tucked behind the back plate on my cast without much trouble.
Overall Review: ultra e-torque
phenom ii 920
ocz plat 1066 (8g)
ocz stealth extreme
3.5 overclock, 35c idle, 55c load
Pros: great ram for the money (back when i bought it i got 8g for less than it's current price) very stable and fast and keeps my audio workstation hummin' along
Cons: had to manually set the timings to get max speed
Overall Review: ultra e-torque case
amd pii 920
8g ocz plat 1066
scythe mugen ii
35c idle 55c load
Pros: burn fast and easy. haven't had any coasters yet. great/fast shipping from newegg as always. instant rebate makes these extremely affordable
Cons: none yet
Overall Review: would definitely buy these again if the price is right
Pros: it works
Cons: it's crazy loud! makes my computer sound like a jet taking off in the distance. can't stand the noise coming from this thing while trying to watch shows on my computer. i hear enough noise already as i work on aircraft for a living. this overbears every noise way too much.
Overall Review: would not buy again and will probably auction it to try and recoup some of the cost
Pros: cheap. got my computer up off the floor and cardboard box it was sitting on. the buttons, lights and usb works, has enough sturdiness to sit unmoved.
Cons: horrible airflow! had to downclock my cpu to get it to run stably where it had been fine sitting out in the open air. drive bays are in a horrible position causing blockage to many ports on my atx motherboard. the case is really flimsy which i expected for the price. the dvd drive bay catches on the dvd drive when opening which i remedied by removing the front clip from my drive. didn't provide enough standoffs/screws for my mobo/hard drives. not enough rivets to hold cage together and the pci slots don't line up well at all. had to bend the bracket on my card to get it to fit, front panel audio connection not standard for any type i've seen
Overall Review: i will probably remove the drive cage and reposition it so it doesn't interfere with the motherboard anymore and perhaps drill some holes for better ventilation. maybe add a couple 90mm fans to aid in airflow. this case is housing my server so for now it has four drives though if i get the drive cage placement issue fixed i may add a couple more. guess it works and i got what i paid for (long as the rebate comes through).

Pros: great storage capacity. easily recognized by my *****vox phone. works like a charm. have stored several movies and tons of music on it with no problems. would definitely buy again
Cons: none so far
Pros: dropped my cpu temp 20 degrees. that right there says it all.
Cons: kinda loud at first but in comparison to the OEM it's much quieter.
Pros: installed easily into *****vox phone. showed up immediately. storage capacity is amazing!! wonderful product. would buy again!!
Pros: The case is extremely sturdy and well made. no sharp edges. very spacious for you pc components. promotes airflow very well. between case and Tt fan cpu is running 20 degrees cooler. love the big window and the lighing scheme looks fantastic. five 8cm fan support out of the box. highly recommend
Cons: power supply DOA. common thing with these cases but i orderd ut Xfin to replace it. the ps acted like it wanted to work but in the end it crapped out completely. connectors are flimsy feeling when trying to remove them from components. really good paperweight.
Overall Review: would purchase this again just for the look and sturdiness factor and not the ps. besides you're buying a case, right? rebate should be a nice compromise to the bad ps.
