Replacement Fan for Intel OEM fan. (No difference)
Pros: Easy mounting
Cons: No better than the stock OEM Intel fan that came with CPU. Actually it is slower in rpms that OEM version
Overall Review: Work for my basic i5-3750K chip at 4Ghz and at idle is 40c which is what I got off the old fan. Used good quality thermal paste and even remounted a second time and still no noticeable difference in temps. But it is a 4 pin version and some are only 3 pin version so watch it.
Pros: Looks very well built with many fan hubs and cooling heat sinks. Board thickness was solid as usual for Gigabyte. BIOS Posted and booter right up. My hardware Windows 11 Home, Intel i5-11500, DDR4 3200 (2 x 8gb) memory, NVMe M.2 drive, Hyper 212 cooling. Too bad I forgot to install the MB drivers from the CD first. lol After you initially install Windows and things are stable run the CD with motherboard drivers next and don't count on Microsoft to have the latest and best drivers. Did update Bios to F7 which was easy.
Cons: None other than my stupid mistake not using the Gigabyte Driver disk. LOL
Overall Review: My last Gigabyte motherboard which was on my previous 2011 build is still kicking. Hopefully this one will do and last just as long. All purchased from Newegg directly and they always stand behind what they sell. 5 Eggs to everyone.
Great Cooler for i5-11500
Pros: High quality CPU fan for my i5-11500 Keeps CPU super cool. Nice they added additional mounting bracket for another fan if I decide to go with more. Take a look at the picture of CPU core temps at full load.
Overall Review: Very happy with install and works better than I expected.
Fractal Design Meshify 2 Compact
Pros: This was one of the finest, well design cases I have seen in my 40 plus years of building PC's. Fractal cost a bit more but worth every penny. They include many extras that makes the build go easy. Rubber bushing for your HD mount as well as easy to remove mounts. All cable access holes have rubber protection as well as numerous places to tiedown cable to keep space tight but tidy. The screwless snap on side covers make it easy to check things out without trying to find a screwdriver. The two large front fans are nice and with all the easy to remove filters work like a charm.
Cons: The only things I consider slight Cons are: The Power button is a bit light and may get be weak over time and easily touched to start the system accidently as I did while moving the case. Also the white power Led strip that is located inside the front panel is not visible unless you look down in front of the case.
Overall Review: Overall I'm still very satisficed with this case and my new system build went well without any issues.
