Well worth it
Pros: Very nice cheap NAS for the price. Caught it on sale for like half retail. It was VERY well packed and designed. It seemed really fast in my initial testing with 4 - 3tb WD Green drives in it.
Cons: The web interface is a little clunky, but is is usable.
Overall Review: Make sure to follow the directions of cleaning the drives before installing them... and make sure you hit the function button to initialize the first time.
Roll the dice and see what you get
Pros: Nice little computer if it works. Very upgradable model as opposed to the C720. Intel processor.
Cons: Did not boot up. I had to spend several hours figuring out how to make a recovery USB stick as whoever refurbed the machine, did not put an OS on it. Also, used would be the word I would use to describe the condition. Most refurbs look practically new, this did not. The top was scratched up and the glossy finish around the screen looked like someone used sandpaper to clean it. The warranty sticker on the bottom was broken, so the warranty is in question.
Overall Review: Probably would not buy an Acer refurb again. A brand new one would have been the way to go. I should have returned it, but wanted to play with it so I guess I will keep it.
Came in looking more used than refurbushed
Pros: Price was good and arrived very quickly. After cleaning it up and testing, everything appears to work.
Cons: Arrived dripping water and oil out of the bottom. Bottom of box and 2 of the little boxes inside were soaked with the oily water. Someone did not close the drain valve. Both nail guns looked used and simply thrown in the box. Hose looked new and the stapler was in okay condition. Tank was dusty but no major issues, just a few scuffs and scratches. Be prepared to spend time cleaning it and testing. I had to go out and buy nails and staples as it came with none even though it is pictured with a few.
Overall Review: I've bought refurbished things a lot in the past. The only thing that looked way worse than this was a refurb Dyson fan I had purchased. Not worth returning as it was really not a bad price. I just did not expect it to look like a Wally World open box return.
Pros: Plugged it into my system and installed the drivers from the AMD website. Worked flawlessly. No issues. Fan is very quiet. Was a little surprised that it was not on all the time, but it cycled on once I put a decent load on the card.
Cons: Not overly flashy but since it is inside the machine, it doesn't really matter to me. Make sure your PCIE is version 3.0.
Overall Review: Saw a lot of bad reviews, so wanted to post my good experience with this card.
Worked great for me
Pros: The price was good for what these speakers are. I bought them to listen to Pandora on a Fire tablet while I get ready for work in the morning. Sound is loud and crisp for me. No issues.
Cons: The sub had a nick on it but it didn't bother me.
Overall Review: Liked it so much I bought a second set for my Mame cabinet. The bass is good enough to make Space Invaders sound really good.
Refurbs are a joke
Fan came in filthy and scratched. The note inside said it was professionally cleaned and repaired by a Dyson tech... but it looked more like it was bought from a garage sale after heavy use in a dirty environment and put in a new box. Very disappointed.
