Overall Review: I ordered 2 of these. One was DOA, the other failed in less than a week. Newegg RMA'd both of them, and the replacements have been working fine in a SAMBA fileserver running 24/7. The first drives were very poorly packaged, so I attributed their failure to shipping damage. The replacements came in air cushion packaging; much better protection. -1 egg for the bad packaging Newegg, but the drives seem to be ok. At least so far.

Pros: USB powered

Cons: They have absolutely no volume control! Either muted or full volume! Found many complaints online about this problem, seems to be a driver issue with Windows 7.

Overall Review: Should have research a little more before buying. Great idea, horrible product. Cost to RMA w/shipping is more than half of what I paid for them, so its not even worth returning! Don't waste your money on these!!!
