good value, cables could use some modification
Pros: quality brand 80+ platinum modular
Cons: 8 pin cpu wires and 8 pin video card wires have wrapping at the end that is too stiff, they can't bend so they stick out and make cable management bad. Also not being able to bend makes the cpu wire barely fit with a full atx mb
Overall Review: I will be getting cables from another company, and will probably purchase another brand next time - whoever thought those oversized stiff heatshrink that won't flex was best to put right at the end needs a demotion
looks good, annoying to build in, lots of bad design choices
Pros: looks good, if you want your computer on the left facing out you don't have many options
Cons: -psu needs a 90 degree bend cord or else it's sitting 6 inches off the wall - lots of useless junk comes with it but doesn't have some things you want -top radiator support is bad imo. right side fits only with water hoses at the top, have to cut and modify case to flip radiator hoses at the bottom(would have been easy from the factory when being designed) -i/o very difficult to access - literally need needle nose pliers sometimes - poorly designed -when you need to access the mb i/o you have to pull hard on the top(I think this will be the first thing to break on the case) - should have had another release mechanism -usb3.0 ports should have the option to plug into 3.0 ports on the back of the motherboard because some boards don't have 2 3.0 ports on the board - I have two dead plugs on the case -lots of wasted space, really surprising how limited you are in such a physically big case -case LED's at the top are WAY too bright, literally about to cover them with paint
Overall Review: looks good, but after this thermaltake cases are on my do not purchase list. really poorly designed and ships with stuff you don't need
big, slow, boring
Pros: free
Cons: took almost an hour to play the first time asking settings questions, video cutscenes, etc. when you finally play it's just "press f, press middle click, press f, press middle click" maybe it gets better but this quicktime fight is boring
Overall Review: glad I didn't pay for it
got for a good price, happy with purchse
Pros: good price, runs quiet and cool
Cons: basic, painted mine white
Overall Review: got it for $649 about a year after release, should have been cheaper but with the gpu shortage that's about as good as you can hope
instructions suck, software stupid
Pros: looks good, if you want white this is a pretty board
Cons: some instructions suck, software is bad, still can't connect to wifi only Bluetooth. only one usb3.0 port on board so if your case has more than one you have dead case ports(but the i/o has a lot). going to hell from all the curse words I said during this build
Overall Review: you have to search all through the internet to decode tech abbreviations. spend more time explaining how the ezlatch(spring loaded thing that turns) works than what m.2 slots to use, and it seems gigabyte moved the m.2 slots around so one answer on one forum will not be relevant to your case if you don't have the exact same board what m.2 to use for 2nd storage? who knows. you did good with the ram, "use first" written on the board will never buy gigabyte again, I thought asrock was bad
so far, loving this mb
Pros: - plenty of fan headers around the board(not all in one spot) - nice led's - lots of expandability
Cons: - wish it had finned heatsinks - RGB software is a mess, doesn't install properly, has errors, puts whatever colors it wants
Overall Review: - after my last build, I swore not to cheap out on a mb again, this one should last, and I plan on buying a newer/better am4 cpu when the 3000's come out - everything worked fine for a few months, but after some time the RGB software stopped working, then threw error codes, new versions failed to install, and now my case is full of ugly colors I cannot control
great condition, worked perfectly
Thank you, would buy another in a heartbeat
came fast, packaged well, worked great
low price, great value harddrive
poor packaging for shipping
Fans were not packed well, there was no packing foam or bubble wrap, just 5 fans slopping around in a box. They worked but I doubt the loose shipping will be good for their lifespan. Shipping was on the longer end, tracking showed it took 3 days for them to receive the order, will purchase straight from newegg from now on.
