Difficulty with Windows 76/12/2015 3:30:02 PM

Pros: None-

Cons: First unit would either freeze BIOS or BSOD after Windows 7 started. Newegg RMA'd it no questions asked. Second unit same exact thing. Tested both on different computers with different brand motherboards. Only similarity is the OS. 2 units tested tested on 2 different brand motherboards, 2 units BSOD

Overall Review: Now that I see this card will not work with Windows 7 and want to return it, Newegg wants to charge a 16% restocking fee!? Maybe Syba can help out with this....

Pros: Very well built case. The quality is very high and much better than the normal gamer case. The disk mounting area under the optical drive has an almost infinite number of possibilities to mount a 3.5 or dual 2.5 disks. An ATX MB with 650W PSU, with a large Zalman CNPS9500 heatsink fit but only just. Also using 2x4G of ram with head sinks attached and a 10.6x4.5" video card.

Cons: The front door sticks a little. But expect that from a new case. No eggs removed.

Overall Review: Final thoughts are I am satisfied with this case and would recommend it to others.

Pros: Worked great on a RAID 0+1 for two years. 56g r/w all day long.

Cons: Original purchase date was 1-15-2011. Drive failed to boot on 1-15-2013. Only one of three drives failed. Stuff happens.

Pros: Keeps my processor nice and cool. Q6600 OC to 3.01, never gets above 51 degrees C even under the hardest running. If you don't or can't afford liquid cooling get one of these.

Cons: You can hear it once it revs up, but its not annoying. To be expected with the OC and all.

Overall Review: Spend a little more and buy some ZALMAN ZM - STG1 Thermal Compound, works just a little better than the stuff they send with it. And the blades are sharp! No cuts, but don't let the kids play with it.

Pros: I purchased one open box. Came still wrapped in original packaging, just no box. Great price.

Cons: None.

Overall Review: I liked it so much I bought a second one. Runs at 26 degrees C surface temp.

Pros: Price and temp control. At first i was a little taken back by the heat sinks on top, but after monitoring the temps i have to say they must work. OC to 1100.

Cons: Can't get them to clock much higher than 1100 like Corsair's and Kingston's have for me on other builds, but for the price can't complain.

Overall Review: If you do not plan to OC these things or are planning to keep is at about 1088 or so, they are very nice. Runs at 46 degrees C at 1100.

Pros: OC to 3.01 and runs at 48 degrees C with non liquid cooling. Using Zalman heat sink, 1 front, 2 rear, and 1 top mounted 120mm fans, and 1 side mounted 250mm fan.

Cons: Other than the fact its all ready obsolete thanks to the 1366 sockets? None. Still a lower price than those.

Overall Review: None.

PSU!!!1/3/2009 9:13:48 AM

Pros: I love this thing. Do some shopping around and you will find for the money, warranty, and performance this is the best purchase you can make. I am running 4- 120mm fans, 1- 250mm fan, OC Q6600 to 3.01, Zalman heat sink, OC 4G 1066 memory to 1100, EVGA 9600 gt video, 2- 500G Barracudas and 4- Sony DVD drives and no power problems at all.

Cons: Has mirror finish and don't want to scratch.

Overall Review: Has a very nice nickle looking mirror finish, was unexpected!

Motherboard1/3/2009 9:00:35 AM

Pros: This thing is nice and for a really good price. I have used Asus, Intel, and EVGA all in the past on builds and this by far is the best for the price. The UGuru BIOS and OC on the fly that comes with it is the easiest to use. Love the 6 audio ports. If you are doing a budget build, i very highly recommend ABIT.

Cons: The I/O panel sheild on the back didn't fit right out of box, took some massaging to get it to work.

Overall Review: It has a very easy to use BIOS for temp control and shut down. Very aggressive fan speeds out of the box, but with BIOS you can control that. All the USB headers are on the bottom, so make sure you have long enough cables.

Case1/3/2009 8:50:47 AM

Pros: The case does have a very nice blue color to it. The 250mm fan on the side is nice and keeps everything running cool. The front fan controls do not work. No matter how you try to set them up they don't control the fan speed. Be prepared, this is a full case. Much larger than a mid case. The Motherboard tray is nice and clean. Very sturdy construction, best price. It lights up the entire room when no other lights are on.

Cons: The blow hole on top doesn't come with a fan. I purchased an Apevia 120mm fan for the top. Case and cpu temps dropped 2 degrees C. The door only opens one way and is not reversible. Since the HDD's mount side ways you will need to have 90 degree plugs or its hard to close the side panel.

Overall Review: Over all i am very pleased with this case. The front temp display is nice for a quick temp check, not entirely accurate but works for case temp. OC to 3.01 and 1100. No problems with heat at all.

Manufacturer Response:
To set up the fan speed controllers, you would hook up the fans that you would use as intake fans together and those that you would use as exhaust fans together. Then, you would locate each corresponding "OUTPUT" connector ("cool air in" for the intake and "hot air out" for the exhaust) and connect that to the remaining male end of the the fan assembly. Finally, locate both male "INPUT" connectors and hook those up to the power supply. The fan speed controllers should work properly after that.
