Pros: Easy installation in my macbook pro (late 2012 model). I have had no issues since the SSD was installed (about 9 months ago). I use my mac for a variety of purposes including graphics, and running virtual hosts, which by upgrading to an SSD from the hard drive, I easily bought another two or so years of use out of my computer. I did not use the included software this time, I simply restored the whole system from a time machine backup.
Cons: None so far.
Pros: It works and it's half the cost of the OEM product.
Cons: None so far
Overall Review: I have typically stayed away from marketplace sellers. This time though, I had an excellent experience with the marketplace seller who quickly shipped out a replacement product for one that was damaged in transit.
Pros: Installed in a 2013 Macbook Pro 15", all went well.
Cons: None
Quick and easy
Pros: I bought this for the PCIE x1 connector to install in a Dell Poweredge 2950 rack server - worked perfectly.
Cons: Nothing so far - installation was simple as expected.
Overall Review: Note: Dell does not support graphics card upgrades for servers. The system takes a while to boot between the bios screen and the OS splash screen.
Good
Pros: Lots of space, plenty of drive bays, included 120mm fan.
Cons: Like everyone says - the plastic parts / screwless design, and the door on the front is an annoyance. *the door is removable, but the case looks hideous without the door.
Overall Review: The case has some sort of a "filter" on the front which helps keep dirt from sifting in *as* badly. I replaced all the screwless plastic parts right off because they look extremely tacky in a computer with a side window. The case has done quite well, and as mentioned in the cons list... The door on the front is my biggest complaint. The screwless design was poor, but there were still standard screw holes. One other thing, I spray painted the inside of the case flat black.. looks awesome! I don't know why they make such a sleek black case and leave the inside drab gray.
I ordered two products from the seller that were listed as refurbished - which interpret to mean "returned to like new / factory condition". Both items showed significant wear, dirt and grime all over, and broken plastics. The products worked and the specs matched the items purchased, however the items should have been listed or marketed on the site as used. The shipments were sent through USPS, which was a real hassle since signature confirmation was required and USPS often comes after the office has closed.
