Very Good Value
Lenovo IdeaPad - 15.6" Dual NVIDIA GeForce GT 755M SLI - Intel Core i7-4700MQ - 8GB Memory - - Windows 8.1 64-Bit - Gaming Laptop - (Y510p (59406636) )
Pros: *i7 Quadcore processor *Nvidia 755M SLI with 2GB *Ultraport (Extra HDD, Optical Drive or Battery)
Cons: Rough / Sharp edges front of the laptop makes uncomfortable (and if you rub the wrong way cut yourself) to type for extended periods. (Contemplating on either sanding it or layering with foam)
Overall Review: This would easily be a 5 star machine if not for the bad quality of the case which makes working on the machine uncomfortable.

Good Price to Features
TOSHIBA Laptop Satellite AMD Athlon 64 X2 TK-57 1GB Memory 120GB HDD ATI Radeon X1200 IGP 15.4" Windows Vista Home Premium A215-S5802
Pros: Excellent service by Newegg! I ordered mine Sunday on regular shipping and I got it Tuesday afternoon. I got this as an everyday office/work unit. The first consideration was price which is very good for a Toshiba. I find the weight quite light compared to other notebooks of similar size. Vista is running fine. Upgaded the memory to max (4GB).
Cons: Over all construction is plastic... Then again these are external and I am more concerned with the internal parts. Spent the better half uninstalling pre-installed apps.
Overall Review: So far so good.
