TOO good

PowerColor PCS+ Radeon R9 290 4GB GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0 CrossFireX Support Video Card AXR9 290 4GBD5-PPDHE
PowerColor PCS+ Radeon R9 290 4GB GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0 CrossFireX Support Video Card AXR9 290 4GBD5-PPDHE

Pros: It runs everything, and I mean everything, on max at 1080p. The only time it dipped below 60 frames so far was in Metro:LL, which was 47 frames. Seriously. Titanfall, Tombraider, GTA IV, Skyrim (+mods), AC:Black Flag... EVERYTHING runs at max. It's almost too good, like watching the Hobbit in that weird higher frame rate that makes it look like a BBC soap opera. I upgraded from two EVGA GTX 460 1GB running in SLI to this sucker. And I was lucky enough to find one open box for $320! (Power Color acknowledges their 2year warranty even for open box purchases.) Cannot believe the difference. Looking forward to Watchdogs.

Cons: I'm going to need to buy a 1440p IPS now :(

Overall Review: Not really a con, but I noticed that the fans run loud, but maintain a temp of aroun 65-70c at load. SUPER COOL. But a little noisy. I play with headphones on, so it doesn't effect me at all, but you may wish to use MSI afterburner to turn the speed on the fans down a bit, as the card is rated to run at 90c at load, if only to keep the noise lower. Still quieter than my 460's.

Most Critical Review

Shipped with wrong lens in kit (2 lens) box, opened.

Canon EOS M Black 18 MP Compact Mirrorless System Camera with EF-M 22mm STM Lens
Canon EOS M Black 18 MP Compact Mirrorless System Camera with EF-M 22mm STM Lens

Pros: Shipped with the wrong lens - 18-55mm zoom, but advertised with 22mm. I wanted the 22mm because this is a present for my gf who travels and would be using it as a nice little compact camera. I'm listing this as a pro, because eventually I'd probably end up getting this lens for her, and it's more expensive and a zoom. So, dumb, but okay.

Cons: Shipped with the wrong lens. And also, came in the kit box listing it as the eos-m with BOTH lenses, so they basically just opened the box, and took out the 22mm. Dumb.

Overall Review: This seller is straight up amateur. Photo-4-Now didn't even give me any indication when they were shipping until I emailed them several days after I was charged, then on top of that sent the wrong item. Well, thanks for the nicer zoom lens, I'll be keeping this one and buying the 100 dollar less 22mm this kit was supposed to come with from a different seller.

Gorgeous with minor but expected flaw

Pros: No dead pixels, gorgeous colors, 144hz!

Cons: IPS Light bleed, not bad, and expected, but coming from a VA panel a bit unsightly.

Overall Review: This was the next logical upgrade coming from 3440x1440 120hz. Blew me away. I was assuming the extra pixels would lower my framerates but since it's not rendering the extra models and textures in the periphery, I think that allows it to have similar framerates. Was afraid I'd miss the extra width but if you have a 3090 you're doing yourself a disservice if you don't go with something fast, large, and 4k. Very happy thus far!

Excellent Freesync Monitor.

Pros: 144hz refresh rate with freesync enabled on an AMD card is just.. ludicrously better than my old 27" 1080p asus. Granted it only had 60z refresh, but it seriously feels like I'm playing games for the first time. You'll have to do some manual tweaking to .inis if you want fallout 4 to run perfectly, but it's worth it. I have an R9 290 and have yet to find a game except for Ark: Survival Evolved that have had trouble. Ark is terribly optimized, and expected, however. No dead or stuck pixels. Screen is super bright. TN is gorgeous.

Cons: Stand feels cheap, but works well. Speakers are pointlessly bad. Still, for 300 bucks, which is what I payed, you cannot go wrong. Honestly the only con I have is unrelated to the monitor itself - it has to do with "2 day" shipping. I got my monitor 2 *weeks* after I ordered it with 2 day shipping. 2 weeks!? Are you kidding me? And 2 days later a competing company had it for the same price with free prime shipping.

Excellent Backpack! But weird smell.

Rosewill Black 10"-16" Notebook BackPack Model RBF-540L
Rosewill Black 10"-16" Notebook BackPack Model RBF-540L

Pros: This back is spacious, there is tons of room for multiple drives, cables, a laptop and an iPad (sometimes I carry 2 laptops in it!) It's just the right size and the pockets and materials are extremely well made. The shoulder straps are excellently padded, and it's durable as heck. I would absolutely purchase another. EXCEPT..

Cons: The ONLY gripe I have with this backpack, and it may be a big one for some people, is the smell. I noticed it after a week of ownership. ALL of the rubber on the pack, which is limited to the 8 zipper pulls and the roswill logo on the bag, has this awful tire-rubber-burning-skunk smell to it. It's not noticeable really until you actually open the zippers (which you'll be doing alot), and it would be fine except that the smell STAYS ON YOUR HANDS after you do so. It makes your fingers smell like a rubber skunk. I smoke, so it's no big deal, and wash my hands a lot, and for the value, it's a great bag. But just be aware that your bag may have this stinky issue.

Overall Review: Ultimately I still recommend this bag for it's overall quality space and comfort. For the price, there's no beating it. Just wash your hands a lot.
