Pros: Excellent game, lots of replayability until you really get to know the cards then it slows some what but that's what the expansion packs are for.
The people who make CAH are incredibly creative and funny, check out their website and be sure to sign up for the Christmas special as it's always worth it.
Can make and print your own cards to add local humor to the deck.
Cons: Have to buy new expansion packs as you get to know the cards in your deck.
Overall Review: We love this game, play it every chance we get. I wouldn't play it with my parents but I do play it with my siblings and friends.
Pros: It works and takes very little setup, the cable card does most of the setup as far as channels goes. It is networked and provides tuners to the computers on your network. Did I mention it works? I've had mine for about a year and a half and love it.
Cons: none, enjoy
Overall Review: I also have a Hauppauge DCR-2650 which is similiar except that it is 2 tuners and USB only. I've had the Hauppauge for over two years and it has worked well, it would be more useful if it were networked so that I could share the tuners like I do with the HDHomeRun.
Pros: Easy setup, nice tools and features built in. Upgrade to newest BIOS first before setting up or using this router. It makes a world of difference.
Cons: not AC1750
Overall Review: I ordered this router and then read the reviews. Snap, this thing has terrible reviews. Did I order a piece of junk? Should I cancel? I emailed Asus tech support for suggestions on how to make it work properly but they never responded. I decided to give the router a try before returning it. When I received it I upgraded it to the latest ROM. I ran in to some issues with the router after the upgrade so I called tech support. They answered fairly quickly and asked me to do a "factory reset". I clicked the factory reset button and from then on everything worked well. The router is working great and the interface is fairly intuitive and easy to use. The router seems quite a bit faster than my previous routers. So far so great.
Pros: Great Sound and easy to use. Paired with the phone with no issues. Great battery life.
Overall Review: I bought these for my wife and she loves them. She wears them when she takes my dog for a walk. She has found them to be reliable and easy to use.
Pros: Price is extremely reasonable for a nice 380W power supply.
Cons: It is loud. Only 1 SATA power connector. No 6 pin video connector.
Overall Review: I like it, glad I bought it but next time I'm going to find a quieter power supply.
Pros: It streams data smoothly and fast through my house. I hooked it up yesterday, did no configuration at all just plugged it in. I copied a file from my Windows Home Server which is upstairs in my office to my front room PC which is downstairs and on the other side of the house. Copy speed ran 5.5 to 6 MBs per second. That's about 48Mbs, not as high as I would like to see but plenty to make me happy.
Cons: didn't get close to 500Mbs speed it is rated at.
Overall Review: I may try the bios upgrade and maybe a different power outlet to see if I can improve the speed.
Pros: Excellent PC, excellent support
I'm using this as an HTPC and love the form factor and performance. I have it hooked to a Hauppauge 2650 Cablecard dual tuner.
Cons: only 2 SATA connectors
Overall Review: Called support this morning for help with an HDMI flickering issue. Rick in support answered on the first ring. He emailed me a link to a new bios file which should fix my issue. Will know tonight. Thanks for the quick and courteous support Rick.
Pros: I love that for less than $5 shipped I got both a wall charger and car charger for my phone.
Overall Review: Buy it
Pros: plays AVI files with no issues so far. Great looking video. Accesses my 32GB USB stick with no issues. Easy menu interface.
Cons: Doesn't play my MP4 files. 720P, no 1080P. Simple menu interface no details on videos, no thumbnails.
Overall Review: This is great for the price. It is doing just what I wanted, I loaded a bunch of my kids videos on a stick and this is playing them.
Pros: Unlocked my 560BE to four cores with no effort at all
Takes DDR2 memory which I had laying around
Worked the first try, no issues yet
Cons: Takes DDR2 memory but that's why I bought it.
Pros: Unlocked all four cores easily with MSI 790XT-G45
Fast, lots of cache to speed up the system
Overall Review: Worked perfectly in the MSI 790XT-G45 AM2/AM3 mobo, unlocked cores and came up on the first try.
Pros: DDR2 Memory, 2x PCI-E 16, 2X PCI-E 1, 2X PCI, 4X memory slots. Easily unlocked my Phenom II 560 to Quad Core on first try with no adjustments of anything. There was an option in Bios that says "unlock cores" I set this to enable and it was done.
Cons: DDR2 Memory
Overall Review: Easy unlock of my Phenom II 560 to Quad Core. Great slot layout, seems to be a dream mobo.
Pros: Beautiful, excellent cooling, large fan.
To say that this beast is large is like saying a limo is a large car, this is a beast of a cpu cooler.
Installation was fairly straight forward, I had read the reviews and was ready for a tough install but found it not to be an issue.
Cons: This beast weighs in at nearly 2 pounds. That's 2 pounds of copper and aluminum love.
Overall Review: I had bought a cheap heatsink to go with my 9850, it wasn't up to the task. With the cheap heatsink the 9850 idled at 50c and at 100% it was running past 80c when I shut it down.
With the Orb my 9850 idles at 38c and runs up to 50c at 100% utilization.
I'm 100% happy with this cooler.
Pros: Nice looking, the black color looks great peaking out of my Antec P180.
Plenty of power to supply my 9850 CPU and 1066 memory with room left for more add ons.
Cables look great with net wrapped around them.
Cons: Not modular but I knew this going in. Cables plenty long for a standard case but I am having to buy extensions to make it work well in my Antec P180, more the P180s fault than the power supplies.
Only one cable with three SATA power connectors, could have used a second one as my case puts the hard drives in the bottom with the power supply and the CD/DVD drives at the top, had to use an adapter.
Overall Review: For the price buy it if 600 watts is enough power for your setup. Plenty for mine, I doubt I'm using 300 yet but have plans for this system :)
Pros: This motherboard has a great layout, the PCI-E 1X slots, both of them, are placed to the left of the PCI-E 16X slot so that the heat sink on your video card does not block them. Ideal for putting my two tuner cards in the system :)
5 stars if it had handled the 125 watt 9850 CPU but alas only 95 watts on this motherboard.
Cons: Only works with 95 watt CPUs, I bought the 9850 and it requires 125 watts. What a bummer I was looking forward to using this board. Good thing is Newegg issued and RMA and is taking it back with no restock fee. I have already ordered and recieved a replacement that does support my CPU. Thanks Newegg!
Overall Review: This is a great board as long as your cpu is 95 watts or less. With the 7750 that I was originally going to buy this would have been ideal, I saw a special on the 9850 and jumped on it but have since had to upgrade my motherboard and my cpu cooler to handle the power requirements.
Pros: Nice looking, fairly easy to install, everything works. It makes a cool HTPC system.
Cons: Wires wires wires, there are wires everywhere once you install your motherboard. Power supply comes unplugged from the factory, you must remove it and plug it in. Just pull out the screws actually holding the powersupply in then reach in and pull the power cable out and plug in the power supply. Not too hard but added 30 minutes to install.
Needs more drive bays, only room for 1 5.25 and 2 3.5 drives, I want more. If the rebate shows then this is an awesome deal.
Overall Review: I am using this with XP MCE 2005, the remote works flawlessly, I also have the MS remote, they are not compatible but I am able to use both. I was hoping to get rid of my MS remote receiver but the built in one does not support MS remote. Not as quiet as I was hoping but it does stay fairly cool.
Display is ueseless. Can't read it from 10' away and all it shows is title name of program you are watching or scrolls whatever you tell it to scroll. It looks good but has very little functionality.
