Pros: I have no complaints about the functions of the camera. Used it twice and it worked great.
Cons: It can be a bit hard to use in direct sunlight as the viewer washes out.
Overall Review: The vendor (Secondipity) who sold this is, in my opinion, not very friendly. I bought the camera in March with the intent of using it on my family trip. It was refurbished but the price was right so I gave it a shot. I tested the camera once before using it on my trip. It worked great. Got good shots of the grandkids and a few others. Did not use it again until my vacation to Yellowstone.
All was going great until midway through our second day in the park. I turned the camera on and there was a big black section on the view screen. It looked as if an old liquid crystal diode had broken (if you've ever experienced that). Anyway, about a quarter of the viewing screen is completely blacked out and it makes taking pictures very difficult. Upon our return, I contacted Newegg to see if I could get it repaired or replaced. I don't want to return it because it really is a nice camera. Long story short, I was told it was past the return/refund/warranty date and that they would contact the vendor and see if they were willing to do something for me.
I have heard nothing back from them, so I assume that they have no willingness to back their sales of refurbished products. I will try to contact them myself to see if they will do anything for me and then edit my review. As it stands, they are off any future purchasing list for me.
If it wasn't for this experience, the review would have been 5 stars, both for the product and Newegg.
Pros: This thing is rock solid. Individual power runs for each device type. Clear, easy to understand installation.
Cons: Too darned pretty. I didn't want to cover it with the side of the case.
Overall Review: If you need a great PS, this is definitely one of them. The customer service department even emailed me to remind me to send in my rebate form.
Pros: Works as advertised.
Cons: Heavy-ish and large. There is no star diminishment for either of these as they were in the specs. It makes it a bit cumbersome to take while traveling but that was expected.
Overall Review: This foot massager does just what it says. This is no mamby pamby foot vibrator or Swedish rubbing device. This machine gets down to the nitty gritty and really works out those foot kinks. You have to understand that if you truly need foot therapy, there is a level of pain that is associated with any deep tissue work. My first session was bordering on excruciating while it was working. Ten minutes after it was finished, I felt like I had new feet. Used it again yesterday as I was feeling sick and needed a bit of TLC. It could be coincidence, but it seemed to knock the nausea right out of my body after 15 mins of foot work. I am a firm believer in massage therapy and its merits. This machine seems to be a fantastic addition to my therapy options.
As the title insinuates, this was purchased for my wife. Since I have only taken two opportunities to use this you might think that it is not that impressive. That is not the case. My problem is that I am rarely afforded the opportunity to use it as the queen of the house has a tight reign over her new best friend. If I am interpreting her reactions and statements correctly, this may be the best purchase that I have ever made for her.
We will be going to Yellowstone in a few weeks with our son and grandson. Lots of walking is expected. I plan to make sure that this little beauty makes its way with us.
Pros: When this card works, it is very good. The problem is that it has so many problems that it's hard to remember when it was good. Newegg has done me right for many years and I don't lay blame on them at all.
Cons: Blue screens, driver issues quite often and then 3 days before my birthday it just stops working altogether. I know I wasn't stressing it playing Fallout New Vegas. It has been one hassle after another since I got this thing. For awhile, I thought that it was just me, but now after reading the reviews here, I doubt that 100%. I wish that I had never purchased this card with all of the headache that it has come with.
Overall Review: How do I get this replaced?
Pros: I took this to the 25 yard range and realized that it would not focus this close to the target. I checked it on the hillside beyond the range and it was clear. I will check it on the 50 and 100 yard ranges; I believe that it will work just fine.
Cons: Legs are not very sturdy on the tripod. A substitution for the tripod will probably be made in the near future. -1 star for tripod inadequacy.
Overall Review: Seems worthwhile for the money spent.
Pros: None yet. Looked to be a good machine on paper.
Overall Review: Customer service was on the ball with getting
