Pros: Quiet, HDMI, HDCP.

Cons: Bulky

Overall Review: Very good card, very quiet fan. HDMI out to HDTV works and supports HDCP. I've watched blu-rays over the connection. S/PDIF wires work and I like that they are separate pins instead of a two pin header like some other cards.

Pros: Very quiet. Fast

Cons: See other thoughts

Overall Review: I bought two of these at the same time. One works just fine, the other started clicking as soon as I tried to format it. Doesn't bother me overly much (I'd rather have the drive fail BEFORE I put information on it), but shows lack of testing or damage in transport.

Pros: HD Audio, HDMI, Solid Caps etc

Cons: Mediocre HD video support. Severe incompatibility with new graphics cards.

Overall Review: Setup 1: Onboard video and audio, XP32. System refuses to play HDCP content over HDMI connection directly to new 46XF550U tv. Both TMT and PDVD complain about a lack of HDCP. Had to force the system to be able to use 1920x1080. Setup 2: GF 9800GT, XP32. System boots and installs windows fine as long as it has no drivers for the video card. If you install the latest foreware windows will hang on load. Had to go back to 169.02 drivers and these have their own issues (like thinking my 9800gt is a 8800gt). RMA this.

Pros: Plays Blu-rays, DVDs, and (I assume) HD-DVDs

Cons: None yet.

Overall Review: I haven't tested HD-DVD playback, but Blu-rays play back in TMT and PDVD8

Pros: Silent. Modular cables.

Cons: Low airlfow, extra cables

Overall Review: The modular aspect of this power supply is both extensive and lacking. The extendable cables are a great idea. Why does the non-modular connector bundle include a 4-pin AND an 8-pin CPU header? Why do I need to connect a standard power header and then a mini power header to get a mini plug?

Pros: Clear HD picture. Analog hole.

Cons: Mediocre remote support, LOUD, requires cable box, codec issues.

Overall Review: I have this hooked up to a Motorola DCH3200 Comcast HD cable box via component. My PC changes the channels on the cable box via firewire through SageTV. Overall the product is excellent and records beautiful HD that is essentially indistinguishable from the raw feed from the cable box to the TV even over HDMI. Be warned that you may have codec issues viewing these H.264 files. Always try to use the Arcsoft codecs that are installed when you install the full software package that comes on the CD.

Pros: Very quiet

Cons: Mouting system for LGA775 is a PITA. Didn't have to take the motherboard out but getting my hands underneath the fins to push the pegs down was a pain.

Overall Review: Has dropped my Pentium D 805 at stock speed from 75degC (both cores full w/ stock cooling) to 55degC (both cores full). Note that this is with VERY quiet exhaust and intake fans.

So far so good, great price7/11/2006 7:52:17 PM

Pros: Very low noise, low price

Cons: Only 2 Sata connectors

Overall Review: Not silent, but very quiet. I was going for a quiet machine and this can't be heard over the exhaust fan on the back of the case. Only 2 Sata connectors but I still give a 5 since all three of my sata hard drives have normal power connectors too.
