Pros: Very nice case. Fan setup is Amazing , but I have not have not been able to turn on PC
Cons: GPU. I have a Radeon VII connected to a Asrock X470 Taichi Ultimate. I cannot install my VII flush into the M/B. I remove 2 of the GPU slots and my VII just will not sit flush into the PCI-E slot. I tried 2 of them to no avail. Very frustrating. I really like the case. Looks like I'll have to try and mount Vertically. I had no other issues in my last case. VII would seat flush with no issues. Really frustrating.
Overall Review: I have not been able to crank the PC on cause I can't get my GPU to set flush.
Pros: Easy to install. Went into the BIOS and changed to 2.0 XMP Profile no problems whatsoever. Colors are very nice
Cons: BUT - BUT - BUT the iCUE software does not recognize the 4 8GB sticks. I can't change color as the MEMORY shows up in iCUE but there's a RED Triangle with a Red Exclamation Point. Kinda bummed about that.
Overall Review: Great RAM, XMP works great, lights are awesome but if the software (iCUE) does not allow you to setup your color scheme.
M/B: Asrock X470 Taichi Ultimate BIOS 3.90
iCUE Software: 3.31.81
Pros: PC booted on start-up and RGB working fine
Cons: I cannot use 2.0 XMP Profile @3200. This RAM is only running @2133. When I changed to 2.0 XMP Profile my PC would not boot up, had to wait for RAM to change itself back to 2133. Really frustrating because of the price I paid for this RAM.
I replaced 32GB of G.SKILL Ripjaws Series V and I was able to use the 2.0 XMP Profile to boost to 3200.
M/B: Asrock X470 Taichi Ultimate (using latest BIOS 3.20)
CPU: R9 3900X (running at default, no OC)
GPU: Sapphire Radeon VII
Storage: M.2 NVMe 1TB Corsair MP510
My PC worked just fine with the above Specs with the G.SKILL Memory
Overall Review: Make sure when you purchase this RAM that you can use the 2.0 XMP Profile @3200
Pros: This is one awesome GPU. I'm coming from a Sapphire Nitro+ RX590 and this blows that out of the water. Can play all my games in 4K Highest to Ultra and get ~ 55 - 75FPS depending on the game. Changed the Fan Curve in Wattman and under heavy gaming my temps stay around 78c. Now if AMD updates this GPU with PCIe 4.0 WOW it will be even better. So glad I pulled the trigger when I did.
Cons: None so far
Overall Review: Highly recommend if you want the Best AMD GPU out there.
Pros: Just built a new Gaming Rig and decided on an all AMD build. This MB Rocks! Put in a Ryzen 7 2700X and 32GB of G.Skill Ram with no issues whatsoever. Like others have said you need to go into BIOS and change the profile to get the RAM up to 3200. No big deal. I also like this MB cause it has 2 M.2 slots which I used with 2 1TB Corsair NVMe. Blazing fast. Has plenty of USB ports with one being a 3.1 which I'm using with a WD 512gb External SSD
Cons: None yet
Overall Review: Highly recommend. Has enough USB ports and the Wireless is extremely fast.
Pros: I just built a new AMD powered Gaming Rig and decided to go with this CPU and so glad I did. Paired with a Asrock X470 Taichi Ultimate and my PC screams. The included Wraith Prism Cooler keeps the CPU well within acceptable Temps. You get so much CPU for the price. The price to performance ratio is far outpaced by this CPU. GREAT BUY
Overall Review: If you are in the fence between this CPU & its Intel counterpart, go with AMD. Can't go wrong
Pros: I finally retired my Sapphire R9 290X and so glad I bought this 590. I play at 2K on A LG 4K Freesync monitor and this card has no issues playing my games at 2K with 50-60 FPS. Playing Tomb Raider & Sniper Elite 4 and the games look and run terrifically ( I play on High settings). Also 2 of the 3 games I was gonna buy anyways, RE2 & DMC5:) Win/Win. I'm very pleased with this Card. I also love the color.
Overall Review: The car is $20 less than an what I paid for. Definitely a great deal.
Pros: This card is simply Amazing. I'm coming from a Sapphire 7950 and the R9 290X just blows that card out of the water. I used Sniper Elite Ver III as an example. I have everything turned up to MAx on on the 7950 I was getting 50 - 60 FPS, with the R9 290X I'm getting 90FPS:) Every other game I throw at the R9 290X it just eats up. My temps stay around 60 degrees because the 3 fans keep this unit fairly cool. Loving this card. Glad I was able to get it for $299 with the $20 rebate. I single card game at 1920 x 1080 and mainly bought this card for Mortal Kombat X, Batman: AK and Witcher 3.
Cons: This card is HUGE! Luckily I have a very big case and it did not affect me but others may not be so fortunate. This card needs a 750W PSU minimum (I have a Corsair 750 W PSU) and two 8 pin connectors.
Overall Review: I was waiting for the price to drop to $299 with the $20 rebate and when it did I picked it up ASAP. I'm very happy I did. I did not want to wait for the R9 390 cards. I have always used Sapphire (5850,7850, 7950, & R9 290X) and their cards never disappoint. To me they make the best Radeon cards in the business. I have never had a problem with Sapphire cards. If you are on the fence about getting this card don't wait, pick it up at this price.
Pros: For the price this is an Amazing Card. You are not going to find a better card for Price/Performance. I was running a Sapphire 7850 before I bought the 7950 and WOW what a difference. I can Max out all my games on Ultra and get Fantastic FPS. Metro:LL, Skyrim, Hitman:Absolution, FarCry 3, Tomb Raider, Borderlands 2, Crysis 3 etc. etc. I won't have to upgrade for at least 3-4 years. This card will even Max on Ultra in BF4. The card stays cool even after some heavy gaming (I usually am around 55 degrees)
Those that are whining about AMD drivers need to stop. I have the latest Drivers (13.4) and have Zero issues.
Overall Review: If you are in the market for a new Card this is a No Brainer. Stop looking at other cards and just buy. You are not going to find a better card for the price. Plus you get 3 FREE games.
Pros: This card is Awesome!!! I was using a Geforce GTS 250 1gb before and could run Crysis Warhead (Gamer) at 30-45 FPS, with the 5850 it's 45-60 FPS. On Enthusiasts it's 35-40 FPS (with no lag or stuttering). I play on Enthusiasts now (1920 x 1080). I ran HDMI to my 60" HDTV and the game looks gorgeous. I have had no issues whatsoever and am glad I bought this card. Installed catalysts 10.3. It seems to have made colors Pop off the screen. Yeah, you are gonna pay more but there is a saying "You get what you pay for" and in this case it's the truth. I thought about running Crossfire, but at this point there is no need to. I was going to run the GTS 250 in SLI but I am happy I upgraded because the 5850 has Direct X11.
Overall Review: You get what you pay for with this card and I don't think you can go wrong if you can afford the higher price. The card is not a power hog as well. Very efficient. Kudos to AMD for a well built Video Card.
