Pros: Great size for adult desk.
Cons: Inflexible keyboard tray.
Overall Review: I have a 32 inch curved monitor on top of this riser, and it makes for a fantastic workspace and gaming area. The flexibility to work sitting or standing at will is great. The mechanics are smooth and quiet, and the surface is a nice material which looks easy to clean. I waited a long time to get one of these, and I am very impressed with the one that I chose.
Pros: Simple, small, and useful.
Cons: Very short cord.
Overall Review: I used this cable to clean off extra HDD's I had on my building desk. It works great, but the cable is very short. I have a portable dock, however, so it wasn't a problem for me. 10/10, would buy again (and probably will).
Pros: If one does not wish to pay the extortion fee to Mophie for additional cell phone power once the lights go dim, this is a truly great way to go. There is enough power stored in this little thing to charge most standard cell phone batteries twice. As always, Newegg has the best Black Friday deals on top shelf items like this.
Cons: Again, it doesn't have the built-in portability of Mophie, making one more little piece of electronic trash to tote about, but for the extra juice in a pinch, that's a minor complaint.
Pros: This is a fantastic upgrade for the cost. I replaced my old-school Nvidia 9800 GT with this mini-monster, and I am very satisfied with the choice.
Cons: No dedicated power. Probably better for a first-time build.
Overall Review: Great bang for the buck.
Pros: I bought this monitor on the reccommendation of a friend who also shops at newegg, and I am absolutely blown away by this thing. LG is a reliable, trustworthy brand, and buying from newegg is always a pleasure. I have nothing but praise for this monitor and those who got it to me. Thank you
Cons: No DVI cable, but I knew that before I purchased.
Overall Review: This is not a wall mountable screen. That, I didn't know.
Pros: This is a great piece of networking tech. I have fooled around on Linksys in the past and regretted it every time.
Cons: Not as easy as it seems to set up on EVERY network. But overall, much easier than most.
Overall Review: Newegg is always great with low prices and quick shipping. Thank you.
Pros: XP has become the old familiar standby for me. So far I haven't managed to get the money to build myself a machine that will handle the resource-hogging Vista yet. So every machine I build gets XP first, then Vista upon request. Go with what you know, I always say.
Cons: The same as ever. New updates bring new headaches, and MS Tech Support is getting bogged down by Vista, I'm sure. So, be prepared to read the forums if you don't have a nerd buddy to help you.
Overall Review: Windows has become a hard legacy to break, and finding or creating more software (or hardware) that will work with the alternatives (Linux, et al) is the only solution to that.
