Great price for 6TB drive.

Pros: Bought it on sale at $150, which makes it $25/TB. It shipped quickly. I ran a surface scan test on the drive (took 84 hours) and it passed with no errors. SMART status looks alright as well. Very quiet drive with little heat.
Cons: None so far.
Overall Review: I placed this drive in my NAS device to expand my storage. Time will tell if it holds up in that environment. From what I can gather the original manufacturer was Western Digital. I don't believe it was a GREEN drive, but hopefully I snagged myself a RED. The original firmware has been replaced, so no clues there. ::UPDATE:: After three months in my Drobo NAS running 24/7, it has performed without issue. I would definitely buy again. In fact, it's on sale once again so I just might have to buy more. :)
First was DOA...

Pros: Powerful access point at a good price! Easy to manage with free downloaded software. Power Over Ethernet (POE) adapter included. Several mounting options (wood, drywall, drop ceiling).
Cons: Does not come with management software in the box. Non-standard 24V POE ....standard is 48V.
Overall Review: ...2nd arrived in good shape. I work in IT, and I've experienced many enterprise-level Access Points (APs). This AP is great for home or office and has power to spare! I have a 2500 sq-ft house with lots of concrete walls, and even on medium power this AP reaches everywhere I need with a good signal. Full power takes it to my property lines and beyond. Negative comments about my phone conversation with Newegg would be a guideline violation, so I won't talk about it.
Great cost-per-TB ratio

Pros: Arrived quickly. Shucks easily.
Cons: Days later found a 14 TB drive with better cost/TB ratio. Maybe next time. :)
Overall Review: Scanned drive for errors before shucking and pulling hard drive for RAID use.
Unstable

Pros: Inexpensive, silent, plenty of space for OS.
Cons: Keeps giving me BSOD, stops resonding
Overall Review: I've never had a problem with "re-certified" products before now. This SSD randomly becomes unresponsive or causes BSOD. Reboot sometimes fails when BIOS cannot find drive. ** UPDATE ** After working with the manufacturer, they replaced the drive and I've had no problems since.
Excellent Drive

Pros: Great price. Online reviews place this near the top in performance. Fast performance and a power-miser as well.
Cons: Nada.
Overall Review: Fantastic drives for the price. I originally got this drive for my new (to me) laptop, and later ended up buying two more drives for the desktops in the house.
Take your chances!

Pros: Inexpensive drive for such a large capacity. Company is quick to respond to inquires/issues.
Cons: Drive failed surface scans with too many bad sectors. Replacement drive also failed surface scans. ** see other thoughts below **
Overall Review: I don't mind refurbished equipment as long as it works. I purchased a 6 TB While Label hard drive four months ago and it still works well. This time two drives both failed testing before putting into production. Price/TB is good, but quality is a gamble. The company, GoHardDrive, was very responsive and shipped a replacement drive quickly, too bad it also failed. They are apologetic about the experience and paid for return shipping on both drives. ============================================================================ Other Thoughts... I later discovered my testing environment was the cause of the drive failures, not the drives themselves.

Item never delivered
After ordering this item it "appeared" to ship promptly, but it wasn't to be. After exchanging several emails with the seller we agreed to a full refund. Another week goes by and no more correspondence and no refund. Only after disputing the claim via both PayPal and Newegg was a refund issued.
