Pros: I just purchased 3 additional units to convert IDE drives to SATA. I have been running two Maxtor 160GB IDE drives with Syba IDE-To-SATA converters in a striped RAID array for 3 years on the same computer. Not a single problem. I'm using an Asus Deluxe model motherboard which has the Nforce 4 SATA controller.
