Pretty nice
Pros: Okay, so having used this monitor for about 2 days, I figure I better write something about it. 1) No dead pixels. 2) A little light bleed, top and bottom only. 3) Very good white levels. 4) Good black levels. 5) Best touch controls I have used on a LCD panel. 6) Lots of features. I am currently using this next to a Acer H213H, both are pretty good, however I would say the color is truer on the LG. Response time is really good, games are playable, no doubt. Brightness is perfect, and the stand is not that bad. I have owned monitors with bad stands... Just make sure you tighten the screw on the bottom of the stand.
Cons: Small top/bottom back light bleed. It keeps 5 stars because I am generally so satisfied with it, the bleed is only noticeable in a finite number of scenarios.
Good Card
Pros: Runs C++/CUDA Fan @85% = 81c max load Idle @68% = 54c Stable clocks 830mhz/1660mhz Runs whatever you want at 1080P/4XAA and above HDMI 7.1 Channel Audio Output Stable Drivers PhysX (You don't have to worry about not being able to play a physx enabled game correctly) Folding
Cons: It's Expensive and PC gaming is being overrun by console ports.
Overall Review: You can start to noticeably hear the fan over about 72%. I had a GTX 260 SLI prior to this, Multi-Monitor/Multi-GPU has too many issues. If you already have a 5870, there is not a real reason to buy this -- unless you want to do something besides play games (ex. c++ cuda). Nvidia has really redefined the meaning of a compute GPU, this should get even better with a die shrink. Total System Usage (Everything) i7 920 - 4ghz 2x 7200 RPM Drives 1x SSD 1x GTX 480 2x 1920x1080 monitors = 530 watts load, 340 idle
Best Phone I have ever used
Pros: I am a bit of a Nokia/S60 fan, so I have used alot of their smart phones. I haved owned a N95/N78/N82. This is my first E-Series, and it will not be my last. This phone will last 2 days running Nokia Email / Mail for Exchange the entire time. This is pretty amazing for a smartphone. The metal case is really nice, keyboard is substantial and screen resolution works. If you get, Download. Skype Fring Handy Weather Nokia Email Mail for Exchange JoikuSpot (Use the 3G connection to make the phone like a wifi AP for laptops etc) Google Maps Nokia Sport Tracker Ovi Contacts Core Player .... Ovi sharing is really nice.
Cons: Low-Light Camera Quality. I also have a N78, which is also 3.2MP, but outperforms the picture quality - by far. Do not buy this phone specifically for the camera. Although it will decimate 2MP phones, like the iPhone or generic Motorola flips.
Great... Seriously
Pros: 2x GTX 260 in SLI + a good quad + more than 2GB Ram will run just about anything at 1080P, full settings. I really cannot be more satisfied with buying 2 of these at less than 400$.
Cons: None, seriously.
Overall Review: I would only get the 192 core if you already have another you want to SLI, otherwise stick with the GTX260 Core216, or better yet, go GTX 275/GTX 280.
Awesome Stereo
Pros: Very loud system, solid bass, good number of inputs.
Cons: No back light on the remote, HDMI Passthrough.
Overall Review: For $400 the quality and features cannot be beat. If you are looking for a new stereo/HTIB, this will not disappoint you. Also, I measured the rear speakers wire to be ~25FT if anybody wanted to know.
Excellent GPU
Pros: Runs 51c Idle - 72c Load. Medium noise. Running at 1680x1050 tears through all games. This is $560 USD well spent.
Cons: Cannot think of any.
