Pros: It is really a great board overall. The speaker controls are nice, the amount of brightness is controllable from bright to off and everything in between. it has 30 macro keys to customize, and has the ability to turn off the Windows key so you cant accidentally hit it during a session.
Cons: In my experience, the only way to get this keyboard to work properly, is to have the removable keypad attached when you plug it in. It took me awhile to figure it out, I thought I got a bum board. Its only a minor inconvenience, but it was enough to knock off a star for me.
Pros: When they worked, they were really cool, the 5.1 is great, I have never been so scared playing Left 4 Dead when I can hear where everything is
Cons: The speakers blew in the first week of ownership, and not blasting the volume, just under normal volume. Now every time I would get an explosion, they speakers would rattle and crackle. So I emailed Tritton, and asked for an RMA......It took almost a month of back and forth emailing to some guy Mike to finally get an RMA number, and I still had to pay for shipping. The only reason Im staying with them is because I cant get my money back. I'm waiting to hear back from them now.
Overall Review: I dont know if I just got a crummy pair, or if it has happened to others, or what, but I was impressed when the worked, great experience till they died.
Pros: Crysis.......... Full everything.....AA X8...Avg. Fps, above 40 ALL THE TIME!!!! I put two of these cards in SLI and I cant find anything that will make these cards work hard!!! Far Cry 2, Avg. 80 Fps, I will not need to change cards for a while. I got a 29,000 and change in my 3D Mark score, need I say more?
Cons: It doesn't solve world hunger.
Overall Review: GET THIS CARD! If you REALLY REALLY want the top of the line, then get the 295GTX and spend a good chunk more, but I cant complain about these babies
Pros: I haven't upgraded in over 5 yrs, and I have to say what an age we live in. This things is amazingly fast, Handbreak works super smooth with the 920. I was able to overclock it remarkably easy to 3.67Ghz with my base clock at 183Mhz, the voltage at 1.4V and the DRAM at 1.66. That put my 3D Mark score from 15,000 to 29,000!!!!!! I back clocked it to 3.01 to save the overall life of the CPU for many years of fun. I plain on putting Avid on it, so I cant wait to see how well it performs then.
Overall Review: You dont need to go spend 300$ more to get a slightly faster CPU, this is exactly the same as the 940 except the 940 has a slightly higher multiplier. Just take the 920 and supercharge it, its worth it, put the money saved on a heat sink
Pros: Newegg had no problems returning the ram.
Cons: IT IS THE WRONG RAM. If you are wanting to upgrade you iMac ram to four gigs using this ram, make sure you are getting the right MHz. I had to call Kingston to find this out. I have the 24in. iMac with the 2.4 Ghz intel core 2 Duo, but it has the 667 MHz ram slot. Yes the 800 MHz ram will fit into the slot, but you will get a cold boot.
If you are looking for the 667 MHz ram, this is the part number
For some reason, it doesn't come up showing compatible with the iMac, but it is.
Overall Review: Newegg is great, I returned the ram the first time thinking it was DOA, and Newegg said no problem, I called them again and told them what happened, they said we will take it back and give you a full refund no questions asked. Thanks Newegg.
