Great TV for a great price
Pros: This TV + Verizon FiOS = Beautiful! Great picture quality. Menus are easy to use, and the option to specify digital or analog audio for the first HDMI slot makes hooking up a computer with DVI easy (with DVI->HDMI cable, of course). 3 HDMI inputs is nice as well, one for computer, one for FiOS and one for the upconvert DVD player.
Cons: Sound sucks at any modest level. I would recommend hooking up different speakers. At medium to high volumes, low frequencies are just painful to listen to. I used a set of computer speakers with a subwoofer and it's much better. Digital speakers and setup is next on my purchase list.
Overall Review: Can't beat this TV for the price. Haven't tested it with a Bluray player, but looks great with full resolution video from the computer. Newegg shipping is great. Live in the DC area and I received my TV two days after ordering with free shipping. Combined with no tax, it's a no-brainer.
Pros: Easy to set up. Bridging feature is nice, even when one is an access point. Was fairly simple to attach to a Yagi antenna. Will withstand extreme temperatures (Outdoor, weather-proof box in Michigan).
Cons: Did not work with generic POE injectors. Has to be restarted every once and a while.
Overall Review: I use two of these in outdoor weather-proof boxes to connect offices ~300ft. away, and provide wireless to one. One is in access point mode, while the other is in bridge mode. On a nice day, they work great. In bad weather, the office will have wireless (short range, <100ft), but the long-range will suffer.
Great iPod alternative!
Pros: THIS THING IS TINY! Speaker gets great sound for how small it is. OLED display is simple, but really nice to have. Comes with a nice skin for protection.
Cons: The clip that comes with the skin is not very strong. I wouldn't recommend running or mountain biking with it just clipped on. Luckily it's tiny and fits easily into a pocket.
Overall Review: 2GB, a speaker, a display, a skin and loaded with extras. What more could you want for <$50?
Great case for the cash
Pros: Screwless design is very nice. Little box inside is nice to keep things organized. Very roomy. Big fans in the front and back keep it nice and cool. Fits a full ATX board, three hard drives, a DVD_RW drive and an nVidia 9500GT just fine.
Cons: DVD face plate hangs up the DVD tray when closing. Once the spring for the faceplate was broken in, the tray opens and closes fine. A personal con, but the nice purple parts bin takes up 3 hard drive spots. If you have more than 2 hard drives, you have to take it out. I mounted the 3rd HD into the floppy bay, as I don't use a floppy, but still kind of annoying. If you only have 1 or 2 hard drives, this will not be a problem.
Overall Review: Great case for the money. The cons are extremely small problems that are easily overlooked by the nice features of this case and it's cost. Front vents being open make the internal case about 1-2 degrees Celsius cool, but it stays plenty cool with them closed. Case fans are rather quiet, which is nice.
Pros: Great KVM! Works with every machine I have thrown at it, including Suns!
Cons: This is more of a personal preference, but it will switch the sound when it switches computers. Kind of gets annoying if you are listening to music while working. Solved this with speakers with multiple inputs. Again, this is a personal preference. This is still a great KVM.
Overall Review: I have two of these, one with a Logitech wireless keyboard and a Microsoft mouse, the other with a Sun Type 7 keyboard and a Sun mouse. Both work flawlessly.
Good case for the price
Pros: Good case to build a low end machine. Looks nice.
Cons: Plastic piece near the bottom on the front is flimsy and snaps off easily. A little Gorilla glue took care of that though.
Overall Review: This case is almost $xx with shipping, so look for $xx cases with free shipping when browsing. Either way, this isn't a bad case, and if you are expecting what you pay for and not much more, this case will suit you just fine.
