Most Favorable Review

4 years of consistent usage in a NAS

HGST Deskstar NAS 3.5" 4TB 7200 RPM 64MB Cache SATA 6.0Gb/s High-Performance Hard Drive for Desktop NAS Systems Retail Packaging
HGST Deskstar NAS 3.5" 4TB 7200 RPM 64MB Cache SATA 6.0Gb/s High-Performance Hard Drive for Desktop NAS Systems Retail Packaging

Pros: Have had 0 issues in 4 years of usage.

Cons: None

Overall Review: Running two of these in Raid 1 within a QNAP, and despite sometimes leaving the NAS on for a few months at a time I haven't had any issues.

Best TV on the market

LG E8 OLED 65" 4K HDR Dolby Atmos Smart TV with AI ThinQ OLED65E8PUA
LG E8 OLED 65" 4K HDR Dolby Atmos Smart TV with AI ThinQ OLED65E8PUA

Pros: The blackest blacks, sharpest picture, more than enough brightness for lit rooms, and incredible upscaling / image improvement for poor feeds. So glad I upgraded my old Panny plasma.

Cons: Motion has a bit too much judder, but you can use motion handling to eliminate it.

Great cooler for the price

ARCTIC COOLING Freezer 64 Pro 92mm Ceramic CPU Cooler
ARCTIC COOLING Freezer 64 Pro 92mm Ceramic CPU Cooler

Pros: COOL--At first, I didn't have the heatsink on correctly, so my temps were no better than they were with the stock cooler. However, when I got it seated correctly, my idle dropped about 7-10C and my load dropped 10-15C (was using arctic silver V before and after the adjustment). Best of all, they dropped with a lower RPM fan (larger) that was thus WAY quieter. The stock heatsink that came with my 3800 was an annoying RPM machine that cranked up to over 6000 rpm's, and was of course as loud as a vaccuum cleaner (without much performance). I also like the directional flow--the fan blows towards the back of the system, so it pulls air over my RAM and cools the CPU at the same time (all the while pushing it towards the back and out of the case).

Cons: It was a bit hard to attach to my heatsink clips, but after I got it clipped it was OKAY.

Overall Review: Some people claim it's large, and it is, but it's fine for an ATX board, and it fit well in my antec super lanboy (and on my AN8-32X mobo). It's not the best cooler, but for thirty bucks (or fifteen, if you get a deal like me :D) it does a nice job.

Fantastic Mouse, bad batteries (but free, and rechargable)

Logitech G7 Black 6 Buttons Tilt Wheel Cordless Laser 2000 dpi Mouse
Logitech G7 Black 6 Buttons Tilt Wheel Cordless Laser 2000 dpi Mouse

Pros: This mouse is HIGHLY accurate. I'm not a gamer, but I work on a computer all day, so my mouse is key. The pads on the bottom of the mouse are stellar and the form factor is superb. I installed uberoptions, which is a patch for logitech's setpoint software, and I couldn't be more pleased. Since I don't game, I configured the DPI buttons to be cruise buttons, so browsing web pages, spreadsheets and any other long documents is a breeze. The battery docking station and mini-usb receiver are VERY nice.

Cons: Because I use the mouse all day, I have found myself changing batteries every day and a half... Granted, I don't have to buy batteris and the package includes two (so I always have one charged), but like someone else said this gets old VERY FAST. If Logitech came up with a better battery system, this mouse would easily be 5 eggs.

Overall Review: I found the middle click button a bit hard to press. Fortunately, after installing uberoptions I reconfigured the entire layout, so if I want to middle click, I just do a "right scroll" (push the scroll wheel to the right). On that same note, I made the left-scroll into a back button, and the button by my thumb into a forward button (sounds backwards, but when you think about it, since my finger is moving to the left to press the left scroll wheel, I'm going back, and when I'm pressing the thumb button, I press towards the right). If you're a gamer, and can see yourself getting aggravated with the battery swaps, then don't get this mouse. Personally, the benefits of the mouse far outweighed the battery, and I got a major deal, so I got it. Also, I never have to buy batteries again (unless logitech comes out with some replacements :D)!
