Most Favorable Review

Download the "Thunderstorm" app FIRST before you buy this...

Thunderstorm Bluetooth Body Fat Digital Scale - Measures weight, body water, fat ratio, bone mass, BMI, BMR, visceral fat index, muscle weight and protein rate
Thunderstorm Bluetooth Body Fat Digital Scale - Measures weight, body water, fat ratio, bone mass, BMI, BMR, visceral fat index, muscle weight and protein rate

Pros: It's a highly accurate bathroom scale. *IF* you verify you can get the app working properly, you can use the Bluetooth sync option to find out your detailed stats. Obviously as with all "electric pulse" scales like this, the stats won't be hyper-accurate like a body fat water tank measurement, for example... but you should already know this if you are enough of an enthusiast to be looking at a scale with these features, yes? :)

Cons: As the other reviewer mentioned, sometimes one cannot synchronize the scale to a Bluetooth enabled phone or iPad device. See other thoughts for how you can verify this will work before purchase. The company that made the app for this scale no longer creates new accounts so one of the "login" options required to make the scale work and sync with your Bluetooth device is no longer viable... but there are other options you can test before buying the scale if you download the app.

Overall Review: The Thunderstorm app is designed to automatically discover and connect with this scale once you stand on it long enough for it to process your body content based on the electrical signals it sends through your feet. This process is "pending" while you watch the 3 little "dots" blinking across the LED display region left to right. Once this process ends, the scale will send "new data" to your phone/iPad and the app there should prompt you to accept the new, incoming data. HOWEVER, the key is that you have to be "logged in"... whether through Facebook login, Google login, or a "guest" account. As I mentioned, the company that created this app no longer supports it so you cannot "sign-up for new account"... you'll never receive an e-mail from them as no one checks that e-mail sign-up account anymore. If you cannot get the app to all you to create a "guest" account, login via Facebook, or login via Google... then you have unfortunately just spent 15 to 30 bucks on an admittedly highly accurate bathroom scale that will only show you your weight in pounds. If you can get the app to work, then you can buy the scale confident that you will be able to use the advanced features (unless, of course, the scale is damaged legitimately to the point where its Bluetooth feature is simply not working at all...) Good luck!

Doesn't seem to work with TrendNet router

Rosewill RNX-N150UBEv3, Wireless N150 Wi-Fi Adapter, IEEE 802.11b/g/n, Up to 150 Mbps Wireless Data Rates, USB 2.0 Interface, 1 x 5 DBi Detachable High Gain Antennas, Win 10 Support

Pros: This was on sale a little over a month ago for ten and free shipping. Grabbed 4 of them thinking I would upgrade all PC's in the house from 54Mbps to 150.

Cons: This does not connect to a TrendNet router purchased just 4 years ago. I do not, unfortunately, have the model number handy as I'm at work right now and just thought to leave a review...

Overall Review: I have not upgraded the FIRMWARE of the router yet, so I'm hopeful that will solve the issue. I'm also hopefully Rosewill has customer support folks that monitor the reviews on Newegg similar to what EVGA does. As of this posting, Rosewill has no driver updates for this product so the 1.0 drivers are all you get...

Excellent card so far - have owned another for 4 months, excellent as well

XFX SPEEDSTER QICK319 AMD Radeon RX 6700 XT BLACK Gaming Graphics Card with 12GB GDDR6, HDMI 3 x DP, AMD RDNA 2
XFX SPEEDSTER QICK319 AMD Radeon RX 6700 XT BLACK Gaming Graphics Card with 12GB GDDR6, HDMI 3 x DP, AMD RDNA 2

Pros: - Won a 6700xt back in April of 2021 and it's been perfect for me ever since - This card appears equally stellar, great gaming performance though I don't overlock GPUs or push my cards so I can't speak to GPU overclocking - If you like to mine Raven Coin when you're not gaming, you can push the memory up a few ticks and drop the GPU as low as possible - the fan runs louder on some models than others, no real way to tell which decibel level each card will hit when GPU is dropped and memory is maxed.

Cons: - Fairly big with 3 fans and some would argue "loud" as well... I don't see either of these as cons but if you need a quiet rig while high end gaming, air cooled 6700xt cards are probably not where you want to be - If you're into mining, sometimes 6700xt cards have issues with the Ethereum miner and the Raven Coin option pays out about 20-30% less at the time of this review (Aug 31st, 2021)

Overall Review: Overall this is a 5-star card in my opinion and the earlier purchase I won in the Newegg Shuffle back in April has been working great for the past 4 months!

Great price for a 3080 RTX card right now

ABS Gladiator Gaming PC - Intel i7 10700KF - GeForce RTX 3080 - G.Skill TridentZ RGB 16GB DDR4 3200MHz - 1TB Intel M.2 NVMe SSD - EVGA CLC 240MM AIO

Pros: Obviously in this limited market people will be looking at a box like this one almost exclusively for the RTX 3080 video card it comes with. The other components are nothing to laugh at... but with people (and even some shady "companies") out there trying to get almost this amount for a 3080 card ALONE... you can't really beat this deal. I've had the machine for a couple of weeks now and it does as much if not more than I could have hoped for.

Cons: It may run a little hot and/or loud at max performance, but you really should expect this from a top end card running at peak levels so it's not really a "con" but I wanted to put SOMETHING in the cons section just to be fair. There's not much in the way of bloatware and the Windows activation process is so amazingly streamlined so we're good from a software standpoint - no cons I can nitpick there.

Overall Review: I would definitely recommend this if you need a gaming rig in the current RTX 3000 series desert. Even these fully built boxes are hard to find mid-2021!

After 50 hours of playing this...

Final Fantasy Type-0 HD - PlayStation 4
Final Fantasy Type-0 HD - PlayStation 4

Pros: This is not turn-based Final Fantasy so if you're looking for FF1 - FFX-2 combat style, this will not be what you expect. However, the story is very gritty and engrossing and once you get used to the fact that you'll be dodging a LOT and using mostly ranged combat, you find out the game isn't as clunky as the controls first feel. Once you get used to the control response and you adjust to the "old school" challenge level (aka this is a PSP portable release without the easy button that most modern games have) then you can settle in for some good gaming

Cons: The only real con in my opinion is the grinding aspect of the game. I started on "Officer" difficulty (aka normal) so maybe if I had started on "easy" I could have blown through it more quickly... but I was looking for a longer lasting adventure so if you don't want 50+ hours of gameplay just go with easy.

Overall Review: To mitigate the aspect of grinding levels for 14 characters up to as far as 99th level... there's a nice "Secret training" option that unlocks fairly early and allows you to log out in the training facility and gain a few levels (EXP boost every 2 hours you're not playing) for up to 24 hours before stopping the EXP increases. When you log back in, that character you hate (for me, it's "eight") will have gained a few levels and will have caught up to the hot chicks you'd rather be using when you play the game yourself ;-)

Free receiver with every purchase

Logitech Z906 500W 5.1 Speakers
Logitech Z906 500W 5.1 Speakers

Pros: Ok, so maybe it's not a full on receiver, but this speaker set can have 2 optical inputs plus RCA and a few other input options - that's just crazy Also, the sound is way more than you expect for the price. Speakers are heavy, always a sign of a good product. All satellites are 67 watt RMS - RMS is the king of specifications where speakers are concerned. Bass is BOOMING! 165 watt RMS!

Cons: Only con would be the front and center channels are small cones. As many audiophiles know, you get better mid range sounds (such as vocals/voice) from a 5 or 6 inch speaker, no matter what Bose and others try to say, still no reason to deduct an egg, I mean, what do you EXPECT for this low of a price with all these inputs!?!?

Overall Review: Next step up from these speakers would be Klipsch. In my opinion anyway. I own Klipsch reference series speakers and bought these for a 2nd gaming rig I didn't want to spend a fortune on - couldn't be happier with the price to performance and the features packed into this little set. You will NOT be disappointed - Newegg has the best price on the web for these, as usual :)
