Great entry level reciever

Pioneer VSX-821-K 5.1-Channel 3D Ready A/V Receiver
Pioneer VSX-821-K 5.1-Channel 3D Ready A/V Receiver

Pros: I am loving this receiver! Great sound! Auto setup! Excellent build quality Tons of features Looks like top of the line Amazing Price Ipad/pod connectable... even comes with the cable The manual is not as bad as some say... just read it and you will have zero problems setting it up just the way you like.

Cons: No on screen display with hdmi... not that big of a deal to me. you can still access all of the settings on the receiver display if you want to switch it up a bit

Overall Review: The vsx-821 is an outstanding start for any basic home theater or stereo setup. Sure you can spend more on other receivers and get things like up-scaling video, a million settings and flux capacitor capable of generating 1.21 gigawatts ....but everything i own and will buy in the future will have an HDMI output so I'm not worried about all the bells and whistles and time travel. The sound is OUTSTANDING! just read the manual and you will be sooooo happy.

Cant Believe my ears!

Pioneer SP-FS51-LR Floorstanding Speakers Pair
Pioneer SP-FS51-LR Floorstanding Speakers Pair

Pros: I wanted to set up a budget surround sound system and researched all the top speakers with a price range up to $400 a pair. After reading a reviews for over a week i bought a pair of FS51's. opening the box i was amazed by how heavy and well built they are. Some people say that the FS51s are kinda ugly. I dont...I think they look killer in my living room. After a few days of listing to them i am blown away by the sound quality. They have a great mid bass and clean mids and highs that don't wear on your ears. I'm not sure how Pioneer and Mr Andrew Jones did it... but i cant believe how killer these baby sound. These are the best sounding speakers anywhere near this price point. pick a pair up today... they will not disappoint you or your wallet

Cons: They are a little short at 32 in high. Might pick up a piar if stands.

Overall Review: Make sure you are getting at least 60 to 80 watts per channel to push the FS51's... the more the better. They are 6 ohm not 8 NEWEGG ROCKS!! Fast shipping amazing prices and quality products!
