Pros: 1. multi threaded
2. feels snappy even with only 8gb of ram
Cons: cheap and lame looking cooler. intel doesn't care about looks.
Overall Review: i needed a media server for my 4k tv. worked great.
asrock 460m pro4 m/b
barracuda 500gb sata ssd
2x4gb Patriot Viper 2666 RAM
AMD RX 550 2gb
i don't care about benchmarks. i care about real world performance
i am just a casual gamer. i am minecrafting and wow'ing at 4k on lower settings.
i am mostly using this to watch youtube, netflix, and other streaming services.
Pros: good price.
Cons: the fan in the description is listed as "quiet" but in reality it sounds like a jet engine as soon as you start to game. i should have stuck with a better brand name.
Overall Review: too loud unless you have headphones on
Pros: was able to bump it up to 2666 with no issues on my Asrock B450M Pro4 motherboard partnered with an old Ryzen 3 1200 and a RX 5500 XT GPU. I game at high settings on my 1080p monitor and ultra low settings on my 4k TV.
Overall Review: i was going to say i had good luck with this RAM but luck had nothing to do with it. I checked my motherboard info and this ram was certified for it. all the people having issues probably didn't even look to see compatibility.
Pros: short length card that fit my motherboard well.
Cons: too expensive for performance level
Overall Review: I replaced a rx 550 with this card. Not as big as an improvement as i thought it would be.
my system: Asrock B450mPro4 m/b, 16gb g.skill fortus 2400 (o/c 2666), Ryzen 3 1200
games on high on my Dell 24" 1080p monitor and games on low settings on my Vizio 50" 4k TV
NOT for the hard core gamer .. spend a few extra bucks for a GTX 1660 or 1660 super for better performance ...
Pros: 2 M2 slots Is great. One is NVME and one is SATA. Lots of fan connectors. Nothing is hard to hook up at all. The SATA ports point back instead of up so video card slot doesn’t block the ports. With a BIOS update this board supports GEN 3 Ryzen so I can upgrade from my little Ryzen 3 1200 later on down the road although this little CPU is a baby monster. This guy has a second PCIe 16 slot too for later expansion of sort.
Cons: The only con is I couldn’t read the front panel header labeling on the board so I had to look at the manual and it was specific enough which direction the 2 pin power button cable went.
Overall Review: Would buy and use again. This was my first ASRock board I’ve ever bought.
Pros: Plenty of room to work inside with plenty of openings to figure out your cable management. There is space above the power supply to stuff unused cables which is nice. The only drawback I see some people might have an issue with is there is only one tray for a single 3.5 hard drive. I only use one so it doesn’t matter for me as I used one NVME drive for the boot disk and a SATA 2.5 SSD for my games. There is plenty of airflow options with fan mounts everywhere. Plastic clear panel is good plastic. Nice and clear.
Cons: Only 1 3.5 drive bracket. Expansion slot covers are throw away and not reusable.
Overall Review: Good buying decision and I would buy again.
Pros: keyboard and screen are in great condition and it boots fast. easily expanded with access to 2 DIMM slots and replaceable 2.5" hard drive.
Cons: battery is shaky and unpredictable. sometimes it gets 4 hours. sometimes it's dead in 1 hour. I might just order a new battery for it because I like the rest of it so well.
Overall Review: the scuffs on this used laptop are just on the outside so i think it was a good investment. I wish the battery was better.
Pros: easy to install
Cons: weak reception .. slow speed and drops connection
Overall Review: I bought this to replace a USB wifi adapter that overheats sometimes but I went back to the USB adapter because this one was so much slower and dropped connection too much. It was too inexpensive to send back or I would.
Pros: easy to install ... cables are manageable ... literally took 10 mins to take old one out and plug in new one.
Cons: was missing mounting screws but I had extras laying around.
Overall Review: mine is driving a g645, 8gb RAM, 500gb HD, and a HD 7770 very easily.
Pros: got here in 2 business days. Play MMOs really well. Much better than the HD 6570 I replaced. Pushes my 1080p 22" TV very well. I had just installed the updated AMD drivers for Win 8.1 so I didn't even need to install drivers.
Cons: I thought it would play SWTOR better than it does ... it does OK on medium settings.
Overall Review: It scared me at first because my system wouldn't boot but PowerColor's website suggested I update my motherboard's bios and poof it worked.
