Looking For Better Performance?

Western Digital Scorpio Black WD3200BJKT-00F4T0 320GB 7200 RPM 16MB Cache SATA 3.0Gb/s 2.5" Notebook Hard Drive Bare Drive
Western Digital Scorpio Black WD3200BJKT-00F4T0 320GB 7200 RPM 16MB Cache SATA 3.0Gb/s 2.5" Notebook Hard Drive Bare Drive

Pros: This drive made my laptop come to life. I had a Toshiba 160gb @ 5400 rpm with 8mb cache. Wester Digital came through again. My lappy responds better, boot up and down are quicker. File transfer rates improved, read /write, and search times noticeably faster. Over all great product.

Cons: None, other than no Western Digital Scorpio black @7200 rpm larger than 320gb.

Overall Review: It is ever so slightly warmer. I used the CMS Data Transfer Kit to clone. No problems what so ever. It was easy load, run, wait for transfer, reboot, swap, Bingo. At this price, going from 160gb @5400 to 320gb @7200 was more cost efficient than going with the upgraded laptop. When buying a laptop go with the small HHD and the best processor, then just upgrade with this drive for a lot less.

A whole new world

Crucial 4GB 200-Pin DDR2 SO-DIMM DDR2 800 (PC2 6400) Laptop Memory Model CT51264AC800

Pros: I took it out of the well packed newegg shipping box then opened my lappy's access door. Carefully opened the package removed the old 2gb from my Toshiba, popped in the 4gb and BAM! It seriously made a big difference, it's like a whole new world with 6gb. The programs I use respond better, no more lag with heavier applications.

Cons: I should have done this a long time ago and I should have forked over the $ for a total of 8gb.

Overall Review: Arrived in two business days via ups ground. I have been watch the price of these chips for a few months. I think the price is not going to change too much. So just buy it you'll be happy you did. If you can afford it buy enough to max out your system.
