Great board
Pros: Im very pleased overall with this motherboard. Military class components, CPU unlock , OC genie for a one click overclock. USB3.0 Sata 6 The overall layout of the board was thought out great. Of course the Lucid hydra chip is great addition for a better for upgrade ability. I havent got to try the multi GPU combinations yet, but I will in the near future.
Cons: uses an old AMD chipset. It saved them money so we could have a Hydra board at this price.
Overall Review: MSI 870A Fuzion AMD Athlon II 445 Rana (unlocked) Deneb core with L3 Overclocked very nicely with this board to 3.8ghz. Gskill 4gigs MSI 460GTX (overclocked to 800mhz) Corsair H50 Corsair 750 PSU Cooler Master CM690 II advanced. I love the VALUE and flexability of all my components. MS Experience: 7.4 Processor (Unlocked and OCed) 7.6 Memory 7.5 Graphics (2d and 3d) 5.4 Hard Drive (still waiting on a cheap SSD) 3Dmark 06' 20,245
hmmmm?
Pros: I already wrote all the wonderful things about this board on my first post.
Cons: Now I seem to have a North Bridge that likes to get scalding hot. this has in return been giving all kinds of problems. looks like i have to send it off.
Not bad at all
Pros: Small, Sound quality is a lot better than I expected. Got these from Logitech on an open box special.
Cons: not a full size headset.
nice!
Pros: Well put together, doesnt feel cheap. Does the job
Cons: none
445 unlocks to Denab
Pros: 85 bucks!! Unlocks to a Denab core with L3 cache High Clock speed of 3.1 Ghz Overclocks great! Free Modern Warfare 2 game!
Cons: Not all 445 Ranas will have a Denab core. Some are made on the Propus core. Heatsink and fan.
Overall Review: A great bang for the buck if you are the lucky one that unlocks with a Denab core. Looks like the current batch of chips available are on the Denab core. Get them why you can.
