Seagate 500GB external

Pros: Excellent backup drive. I've had no problems with this as I only use it for backup. Simple to use - easy out of the box and plug in. Easy to set up on autobackup schedule. I would recommend this to anyone wanting a good solid backup drive.
Cons: None that I can think of. Perhaps for those people who are terribly concerned with write speed, but for my use - it operates perfectly.
Overall Review: I'm not concerned with write/read speed as I've scheduled it for a 3 am autobackup - so I don't care how fast it will write. I wanted something that will hold large amounts of data, images, and video. Perfect drive.
Corsair is excellent!

Pros: I'm on my 4th (I think) Corsair flash drive. I keep filling them up and need to get a larger one. Every drive has worked flawlessly! I buy them to hold everything - mainly all my work in education (backed up on other machines) but this is my daily use drive. I cart it everywhere and plug it into several machines on a given day. I've never had a problem. I filled up a 16 GB and now need more space. I like the rubber case - the weight and feel make it obvious unlike some of the hard plastic ones.
Cons: If anything... I've lost caps. But Corsair has always been excellent in replacing them.
Seagate 500GB

Pros: I was looking for a backup drive for media. This drive has had no problems - works perfectly. I'm not concerned with read/write since my primary work is done on the internal drive. Even so - I am able to pull files from it in a timely manner. I've had no problems with heat, data storage, or any other item.
Cons: None.
Overall Review: I'll buy another Seagate drive before too long as I'm filling this one up. I don't run it all day long so for my purposes this is an exceptional product.
