happy happyt
Pros: inexpensive...fairly robust video performance with added RAM...good range on the wireless...dual layer burner...comfy keyboard.
Cons: Battery life a little over one hour, easily fixed with larger battery
Overall Review: Would not work with Mushk*n 2Ghz kit, Acer didn't know why, Mushk*n didn't know why and kept referring me to their memory config tool...which didn't work either. Solved problem with 2 sticks of O*Z ddr2-667 for about the same price. If you'd like a laptop with 2Ghz of RAM for under $800, this is how you do it.
Grrrr...
Pros: Cheap for what you get
Cons: Take a close look at that DVI connector on the card...because it isn't going to let you use a standard dvi-vga adapter for cheap dual monitor use...HDMI adapter ONLY.
Overall Review: Plays flight sim great, wish I could use the second VGA monitor...
followup
Pros: seems to be bulletproof
Cons: price has dropped from $150
Overall Review: 2 1/2 years later and my tech challenged wife hasn't been able to break it...e-mail, facebooking, phoning...and picture taking. Fits in her purse better than a kindle...good buy for people who just want to impress themselves...
Bridge over the river photo
Pros: Fits large hands well, just the right size...best point and shoot I've ever used...good low light performance...get a fast memory card and click 'emoff as fast as you can...
Cons: Two hunnert fifty bucks less at that place named after the river in south amerika...C'mon newegg, I'da bought it from you if ya coulda done better...
Overall Review: If you need to shoot on the move without a bag full of lenses just for fun, this is top 'o the line.
speedy
Pros: write 78, read...190 on ATTO...same size asmy old 8G survivor...
Cons: none yet
Overall Review: yesindeedy
Forty dollars of excellence
Pros: Cheap...modders delight...who's afraid to hack and slash a forty dollar case? It's light...it's black...scratch your chin, think a little, save your hard earned dollars and spend the money you save on hardware...
Cons: Ignoramus reviewers with self appointed 5 star tech knowledge who can't figure out you can move the fans twords the door and get them ALL in...simply by using the other screw holes... ARRGH, Newegg, give me the ability to upload simple pictures and help the assembled masses, ain't got time for a video...
Overall Review: Grills can be cut out with a simple pair of diagonal cutters making it cooler and quieter...with a tad more skill you too can slash the back of the case and hang the h100i out there with four fans...h60 fits in the forward top fan hole BUT you've gotta get the optical drive in the bottom drive bay...
