Acer Ultrabook TravelMate Intel Core i5 4th Gen 4300U (1.90GHz) 8GB Memory 120 GB SSD Intel HD Graphics 4400 14.0" Windows 7 Professional 64-bit TMP645-V-6446 (NX.V94AA.003)
Acer Ultrabook TravelMate Intel Core i5 4th Gen 4300U (1.90GHz) 8GB Memory 120 GB SSD Intel HD Graphics 4400 14.0" Windows 7 Professional 64-bit TMP645-V-6446 (NX.V94AA.003)

Pros: much lighter than ultrabooks by other brands (HP, Lenovo), has backlit keyboard, perform as expected

Cons: Royally unhappy with SSD HD Space, out of 120 GB only about 50 GB available to the consumer. Run into this problem on all other laptops with SSD HD. Really makes one miserable, given the fact that OS only needs about 30 GB yet the mfg's take additional 60 gb. For what? Drivers? Spare me... Have to keep my files on large capacity SD Card, which unlike on my HP EliteBook doesn't stick out so it will unlikely get damaged (or so I hope...). Lastly - Tech Support. Pray you won't ever need them, Acer's support is a pain in the neck to get ahold of, and they put lot of effort not to disclose their contact info online....

Overall Review: If it works - great product, can only recommend, go for it. If it doesn't - well let's just say I bought an open Travel Mate and since Newegg doesn't allow reviews of open items here, use a search engine and read it on ripoff report

unreliable

Maxi-Matic EKA-9210SS Stainless Steel 4-Slice Toaster Oven Broiler
Maxi-Matic EKA-9210SS Stainless Steel 4-Slice Toaster Oven Broiler

Pros: none

Cons: This toaster is really weird if you do not turn the knob far enough it won't even start, if you do your toast is going to come out burned to dust and if there is time "left" it won't turn off even if you turn the knob to off position. I wish I would have found out a week sooner - would have returned the product. Now that the 30 days had already passed I will keep it but I don't trust this thing a bit and will only use it to toast while I'm present... I regret this purchase and would not recommend this product to anyone

Back it goes

Pros: fast shipping

Cons: unit is rather heavy for its size, no back lit keyboard , battery sticks out, and foremost - out of 256GB SSD - available to you are whooping 176GB.

not impressed

HP EliteBook 840 G1 Ultrabook - Intel Core i5 4GB Memory 180GB SSD 14" Ultrabook Windows 7 with 3yr Warranty- (E3W30UT#ABA)
HP EliteBook 840 G1 Ultrabook - Intel Core i5 4GB Memory 180GB SSD 14" Ultrabook Windows 7 with 3yr Warranty- (E3W30UT#ABA)

Pros: win 7 pro installed, capable to run heavy programs such as Adobe CS

Cons: Somewhat heavier than other notebooks, graphic gets "dizzy" on occassions, battery life is truly pitiful. Frequently freezes MS office, QB and even the internet. We bought 2 of the same only because they come with win 7 - both PC's experience the above described issues, so not just an isolated "lemon" PC.

Overall Review: Wish other brands offered win 7 with ssd and decent configuration at a reasonable price ...

No complains so far

Acer Ultrabook TravelMate Intel Core i5 4th Gen 4200U (1.60GHz) 8GB Memory 256 GB SSD Intel HD Graphics 4400 14.0" Windows 7 Professional 64-bit TMP645-M-6427
Acer Ultrabook TravelMate Intel Core i5 4th Gen 4200U (1.60GHz) 8GB Memory 256 GB SSD Intel HD Graphics 4400 14.0" Windows 7 Professional 64-bit TMP645-M-6427

Pros: Have yet to see such a great configuration at this price. All my XP programs (Office 2003, Adobe CS6, Quickbooks 2009 and other) installed fine thanks to Win 7 pro. Unlike my toshiba with the same specs but a regular hdd, this Acer with 256GB SSD does NOT overheat and the fan (hardly audible), rarely comes on - love that. Keyboard light only comes on then it gets darker, would have liked it stayed on all the time, but... Speakers' sound more than sufficient, screen doesn't reflect much, battery life seems to be decent. Have yet to try webcam... I was looking for an ultrabook work horse, didn't buy it for looks and that's pretty much what I got - slim, light weight, portable, runs all my program really well so far Left Dell years ago due to their -censored- customer service (no change there - was on chat with one of the CR's before I found this baby, and yep - still no change ..). Dell's laptops are of superior quality compared to Toshiba when it comes to performance, which I was running past 4 years but the fan noise was killing my ears from day 1 and it really overheated very frequently. So I have high hopes for this beauty and hope this marriage is finally going to last....

Cons: none so far

Overall Review: If you refuse to switch to win 8 and need performance - go for this mode, you won't be sorry
