Exceptional monitor, I'm happy I upgraded
Pros: -I can't go back from 144hz. I just can't. -1440p is crystal clear, and this monitor does it well. -Really intuitive menu UI, allowing for easy (enough) tweaking. -A couple months in, have yet to find any dead pixels. And even if there were, I feel pretty reassured by Dell's warranty. -Minimal backlight bleed. -The separate color profiles you can set for different input sources is a really nice touch.
Cons: -Honestly, some of the other reviews have merit. The color quality was not superb out of the box. Dark colors were very muted, and everything just felt kind of meh. But I sort of expected this, and after a quick session with the Windows display color calibration tool, I am VERY happy with the image quality of this monitor. (FWIW, I'm not really a display enthusiast, or at least not yet, so I may not have the sharpest eye for this kind of thing, but I'm really pleased either way) -Upgrading from FHD to QHD was well worth it, but it also convinced me to upgrade my GPU... so be careful if you're on a budget.
Overall Review: All around a really great monitor. I use it for general browsing as well as gaming, and I have pretty much no complaints at this point. Coming from a 24" 60hz 1080p AOC monitor (which I'm still using as a secondary), the S2719dgf is a massive upgrade. Note: do keep in mind that the monitor ships in its product box. Make the necessary arrangements if you're worried about someone trying to take it off your porch, or whatever.
