Thermaltake Level 10 GT (VN10001W2N) Black SECC / Plastic ATX Full Tower Computer Case with Four Fans - 1 x 200mm Colorshift side fan, 1 x 200mm top fan, 1 x 200mm front fan and 1 x 140mm rear fan
Thermaltake Level 10 GT (VN10001W2N) Black SECC / Plastic ATX Full Tower Computer Case with Four Fans - 1 x 200mm Colorshift side fan, 1 x 200mm top fan, 1 x 200mm front fan and 1 x 140mm rear fan

Pros: *Tons of room, high attention to detail, cable management is a breeze! *Very high build quality nothing rattles shakes or is loose, some people may whine about the plastic HDD cage, but it is stout and actually seems to fit better than my previous case with metal cage. *My previous case a CM690 was a mess despite my best efforts to clean up the cables, Thermaltake has made it easy to the point that you see at most 2" of cable for any device. *Fans are also very very quiet (I didn't think they where working at first) and move alot of air, cooler and quieter than last case. *Colorshift fans are a cool little piece of bling. They feature three colors and two fancy patterns that use all three colors, as well as two speeds controlled by buttons on the case. *Hard drives are mounted to rubber bushings with shouldered screws that are included very trick. *Lock is cheesy but nice deterent I have some nice components that I would rather not lose. *Lots of

Cons: *NITPICKS* *Huge, giant, enpourmous!!! I had no idea when I ordered this thing how big it was, so if you have never had a full tower before be aware it is big. *Instructions where located inside the case when I received it, wouldn't have been a big deal, but the release to open the side is hidden on the bottom. *Cannot set a default color on the colorshift fans, always start up blue. *Window could be bigger. *PSU did not fit perfectly had to push on it top line up screw holes.

Overall Review: I am a big fan of this thing, it is not very tooless. It only has tooless holders for one side of the 5.25 slots, not a big deal to me though as I prefer the security of screws anyway. Quick swap hard drive is not especially useful but works well well and is kind of neat, however the plugs do not allow for locking SATA cables (they will plug in just not lock.) Great Idea...

NZXT CB-LED10-BU Sleeved LED Kit - Blue, 1 m
NZXT CB-LED10-BU Sleeved LED Kit - Blue, 1 m

Pros: Great idea, nicely sleeved, includes mounting clips, three brightness levels with power switch.

Cons: Not really a good blue they have a green tint to them that makes them look pale and not evn close to matching blue fans. The pci controller would not fit in a pcie slot had to use it in a pci slot or the board would hit the socket not a big deal but made cable management trickier.

Hmmmm

SAMSUNG Black 12X BD-ROM 16X DVD-ROM 48X CD-ROM SATA Internal Blu-ray Combo Model SH-B123L LightScribe Support

Pros: Looks sharp, plays blu-rays

Cons: If a disc is in when I boot my pc causes windows to stop right after the flower, have not figured out why yet. Does not always play blu rays sometimes get to 99% load and freezes. Power DVD 9 software sucks never been a fan of it.

Overall Review: Trying a driver update we'll see what happens

Great CPU

Intel Core i7-860 - Core i7 Lynnfield Quad-Core 2.8 GHz LGA 1156 95W Processor - BX80605I7860
Intel Core i7-860 - Core i7 Lynnfield Quad-Core 2.8 GHz LGA 1156 95W Processor - BX80605I7860

Pros: Great CPU 8 usable cores easily OC's to just under 4GHz (with no prior experience)

Cons: Overkill? If that can be considered a con, I don't believe I have ever seen the processor utilized over 35% other than while running a stress test.
