Great for computer repair
Pros: Does what it is designed to do.
Cons: None
Overall Review: I use this to hot swap laptop drives and ssds. It is a lot easier to have a bay to insert drives in than it is to shut down a pc and install it inside the case. I run virus & malware scans in this manner. It also is great for recovering data off a drive that windows will not run correctly on. Invaluable in computer repair.
SSD on the cheep
Pros: It is a reliable SSD for a cheap price at a decent size for certain applications depending on the build.
Cons: SSDs are still costly. Just enough for windows 7 and a few programs. Formats at 37.2GB or there a bouts.
Overall Review: You have to know what you want out of a computer if you put a small SSD in it. We use ours as data entry points and general office duties. We also have a SAN for Data storage and discourage people from storing data on their local hard drives.
Fast
Pros: This CPU is rated 4th highest in benchmarks as of 2-11-10. It is a screamer without paying a premium price. It has all the latest goodies like QPI, Virtualization, and Hyper-Threading.
Cons: None, CPUs are rock solid components that rarely go bad with proper use.
Overall Review: Windows sees this a 8 cores thanks to Hyper-Threading. And the QPI is the an excellent thing to look for in new CPUs. http://www.intel.com/technology/quickpath/
Good Drive
Pros: Works great and runs quite enough to satisfy my needs.
Cons: None
Overall Review: I would buy another one.
BIG
Pros: Does a great job of keeping things cool.
Cons: Layout flexibility. This thing is huge compared to a lot of the ones I have used. It barley fit, but it did fit. I could not ajust the airflow the way I wanted, due to the EVGA E758-A1 3-Way SLI motherboards design. A heatsink on the board was too close to attach the CPU cooler one way so I had move the fan to opposite side. I just flipped the case fan around to get non turbulent airflow through the case.
Overall Review: Seems to be really competitive with other higher priced coolers while providing excellent cooling.
Rosewill
Pros: Looks nice and case fans are quite. Good airflow. Hard drives have a fan to keep them cool. Easy access case.
Cons: Screwless design doesn't work well with certain hard drives. Like Intel SSDs or VelociRaptor. I had to put the Intel SSD in the rack where a floppy would go if we still used floppys. On the build with 4 VelociRaptors I had to bend the stops at the back of the rack in order to get them in far enough to put the side of the case back on.
Overall Review: I had to use screws but at least that worked. The Intel SSD had a bracket that helped it mock up to the regular hard drive dimensions. And with the power supply on bottom some of the case, cords might be a little short if you like to make things neat inside of the case.
