Works great, Corsair Link software is junk

Corsair Hydro Series H110i GTX 280mm Extreme Performance Liquid CPU Cooler
Corsair Hydro Series H110i GTX 280mm Extreme Performance Liquid CPU Cooler

Pros: This worked right out of the box. Installation was simple on my 5820K, easily mounted the radiator in the case, and the pre-applied thermal compound was a nice touch. I'm able to run my 5820K at 4.3 GHz (stock is 3.3 GHz) with almost no fan noise. The adjustable color LED logo is a nice touch - was able to match my black/red theme perfectly.

Cons: The Corsair Link software is complete junk. I had to install it 2 times to get it to work...and it is VERY buggy...for instance: I connected the radiator fans to the cooler block as instructed in the manual. Set the Corsair Link software to "quiet mode". Randomly (and I mean randomly) the fans would spin up to full speed (which is loud). I set them to manual control with Corsair Link, and they would still spin up to full speed at random. I connected the fans to a CPU fan header on my motherboard, and now control their speed with my bios. Nice and quiet...all the time.

Overall Review: I gave this 4 eggs versus 5 as the Corsair Link software is junk. If Corsair had not advertised this as part of a major feature of the product, I would have given 5 eggs. Also - I wish the radiator was copper versus aluminum...the thermal transfer would be much better than the great it already is. But, the copper would cost them more.

Great, Fantastic, Wonderful Case

Corsair Carbide Series Air 740 - High Airflow ATX Cube Case
Corsair Carbide Series Air 740 - High Airflow ATX Cube Case

Pros: - Dropped the temperature of all system components by 10 C compared to my old case (NZXT Noctis 450)...everything...CPU, GPU, memory, motherboard temperatures...everything - Wonderful build quality - Hinge on the window panel is a nice plus - Thumb screws (that you can actually use your thumbs with) to hold on sides - Lots of room on each side of the case - HUGE window - Excellent 2.5" and 3.5" drive mounting scheme

Cons: - No cable mounting points like seen on other cases (however, there is so much room on the "power supply" side that you really don't need it...just the cabling on this side ends up "jumbled together"...not worth an egg deduction, because I knew it before I bought the case.) - Air filters are supplied for only the front fan mounts and the PSU mount (not worth deducting an egg as I knew this before I bought the case.) You can purchase 120 mm/140 mm magnetic filters for the bottom mounts

Overall Review: Shorter and wider than my last case, but not as long. A thing that was a pleasant surprise...you can mount 3 individual 120 mm AIO radiators in the front of this case. Many cases will say they can do a 360 mm radiator mount, but are not wide enough to accommodate 3 individual 120 mm AIO radiators (like my last NZXT Noctis 450 case for example). I currently have 3 120 mm AIOs mounted as intake into this case (1 for CPU, and 2 for GPUs)...even with these AIOs venting warm air into the case, everything is still 10 C lower as stated above. Great case. I strongly recommend.

Fantastic Card

EVGA GeForce GTX 1080 FTW GAMING ACX 3.0, 08G-P4-6286-KR, 8GB GDDR5X, RGB LED, 10CM FAN, 10 Power Phases, Double BIOS, DX12 OSD Support (PXOC)
EVGA GeForce GTX 1080 FTW GAMING ACX 3.0, 08G-P4-6286-KR, 8GB GDDR5X, RGB LED, 10CM FAN, 10 Power Phases, Double BIOS, DX12 OSD Support (PXOC)

Pros: - Is a fast card - very fast - Cool RGB LED - The fans on the card are very quiet...I keep them at 90% 24/7

Cons: - The Precision OCX software is still a bit buggy

Overall Review: I got a decent overclock on this card...GPU currently stays at a boost of 2150 MHz. I strongly recommend.

Works Great...Looks Great

GeIL SUPER LUCE 16GB (4 x 4GB) DDR4 3000 (PC4 24000) Desktop Memory Model GLR416GB3000C16QC
GeIL SUPER LUCE 16GB (4 x 4GB) DDR4 3000 (PC4 24000) Desktop Memory Model GLR416GB3000C16QC

Pros: The memory is running at the rated specifications...I haven't tried overclocking it just yet. The sticks look awesome and match my color scheme. The LEDs are bright enough, but not too bright!

Cons: Well - the only con is that I wish the LEDs would pulse in synch with each other. Not a big deal.

Overall Review: These things look awesome!
