Feels nice, accurate - but the scroll wheel... isn't so bad

Logitech G502 SE HERO 910-005728 Black/White 11 Buttons Tilt Wheel Wired Optical Gaming Mouse
Logitech G502 SE HERO 910-005728 Black/White 11 Buttons Tilt Wheel Wired Optical Gaming Mouse

Pros: -Several programmable buttons -16,000 DPI helps in precision editing -RGB increases FPS in most AAA games -Color scheme and design are presentable

Cons: -locked scroll wheel is rather stiff, but i guess that's the point -free scroll wheel is like it's greased with WD-40 - it'll spin for eternity with a minor flick -RGB doesn't increase FPS in ALL games edit: I see why the scroll wheel has to be designed this way, and added an egg back.

Overall Review: I didn't initially realize that the mouse had a locked and free scroll wheel, which is why it has the notches and probably why regular rubber that's typically used wouldn't work. That said, i'd like to have something more balanced for the scroll wheel, as it's either too rigid or too spinny for me. After a couple weeks of use, the mouse has grown on me and i've learned to lock/unlock the scroll wheel as needed. Everything else about it is fine so far.

So far, not a single complaint - 3950x runs well

ASUS AMD AM4 ROG X570 Crosshair VIII Hero (Wi-Fi) ATX Motherboard with PCIe 4.0, Dual M.2, SATA 6Gb/s, USB3.2 Gen 2, 2.5Gbps LAN, WiFi 6
ASUS AMD AM4 ROG X570 Crosshair VIII Hero (Wi-Fi) ATX Motherboard with PCIe 4.0, Dual M.2, SATA 6Gb/s, USB3.2 Gen 2, 2.5Gbps LAN, WiFi 6

Pros: -Very high quality VRMs, perfect for 3950x. One of the best price to performance boards you can get, according to der8auer. His 3950x simulated VRM test is what lead me to this board. -POST on the first attempt with an AIO (had to set the BIOS to ignore the CPU fan) -WiFi allows wireless controllers and bluetooth without any additional hardware -M.2 slots run at spec, and the armor seems to keep them at reasonable temps -Everything necessary to the build was included, as expected -ASUS provides the latest drivers on their site, everything is updated and running fine -More USB than i'll ever need. I'd trade half of those to get another USB 3.0 front panel connection -The pinout adapter is one of the most convenient things that i wish existed for longer than it has -PCIe 4.0 i guess is worth mentioning, if you're new to x570

Cons: -I got a case with 4x USB 3.0 front panel, and this motherboard just has one 20-pin connector. I knew this coming into it, I just planned to get a PCIe adapter or something in the future if i ever needed it. -Kraken x62 and my higher profile RAM forced me to flip the coldplate and turn the NZXT logo upside down - appropriately upsetting Linus and Kyle. I'd like it if the memory could be moved a bit further from the CPU socket, as i only needed a few cm.

Overall Review: I've had this build for a week, and the board has been perfect - not a single issue yet. I'd love to rip it apart for a flaw i encountered, but i guess i got one of the rare good specimens? It is odd that both models have been sold out since i purchased mine a couple weeks ago. Is that a sign of an underlying issue, or is it just a popular board? Anyway, not docking any eggs for my cons because they're basically my own fault. I knew the RAM was high profile, I just figured i'd still have space for the coldplate. I could get lower profile RAM and i'm sure it would be fine, but i'd rather have the Trident Z Neo that was on sale at the time.

I can't find anything wrong with this keyboard

Rosewill NEON K90 RGB BR Mechanical Gaming Keyboard with Kailh Brown Switches, 15 RGB LED Backlight Effects, NKRO, Anti-Ghosting, Multimedia Control Keys, Macro Hotkeys, USB Passthrough
Rosewill NEON K90 RGB BR Mechanical Gaming Keyboard with Kailh Brown Switches, 15 RGB LED Backlight Effects, NKRO, Anti-Ghosting, Multimedia Control Keys, Macro Hotkeys, USB Passthrough

Pros: -Media keys work out of the box, no software or programming needed -RGB looks nice and gives a decent increase to FPS in most AAA games -Keys have a satisfying feel, and don't wake the neighbors at night -RGB control is on the keyboard itself, no software is necessary to change it or turn it off -Volume, pause/play, skip forward/backward, can all be linked in Winamp and controlled while in-game or another app

Cons: -There's the tiniest wobble on the spacebar, but you'd only notice it if you were scrutinizing it.

Overall Review: The con i listed isn't much of a con, I just tried to find a flaw with the keyboard and that's the closest thing I could find to one. I like the keyboard. I'll come back and defecate all over it if it fails or has defects in the near future. For now, 5/5 - very nice work Rosewill.

16gb DDR3/1333 -> 64gb DDR4/3600

G.SKILL Trident Z Neo (For AMD Ryzen) Series 64GB (4 x 16GB) 288-Pin RGB DDR4 SDRAM DDR4 3600 (PC4 28800) Desktop Memory Model F4-3600C16Q-64GTZNC
G.SKILL Trident Z Neo (For AMD Ryzen) Series 64GB (4 x 16GB) 288-Pin RGB DDR4 SDRAM DDR4 3600 (PC4 28800) Desktop Memory Model F4-3600C16Q-64GTZNC

Pros: -Stable, so far -DOCP enabled the rated speed and timings without losing stability -Looks sweet inside the H500M next to a Kraken x62, although their profile is too high and was forced to turn the coldplate upside down - NZXT logo flipped :( -Timings and speed are good for the price

Cons: -Hynix -Not Samsung b-die I don't know if Hynix is really so inferior, I'm just going by what I've read in overclocking forums. Do some research on Hynix vs B-die if you're concerned.

Overall Review: I didn't do any research on memory manufacturers, and got this kit of the lesser Hynix. Right now, I have no problems with it, and it's keeping my 3950x running smooth. If issues do pop up, i'll be back to voice my concerns. I can't complain, at least not yet. All that said, this is a nice upgrade from DDR3 16gb. If you're waiting to upgrade, now is a good time to get into PC hardware and build your own.

BEST. MOUSE. EVER. PAD.

CORSAIR MM200 - Cloth Mouse Pad - High-Performance Mouse Pad Optimized for Gaming Sensors - Designed for Maximum Control - Medium, Black- Yellow Stripe, Model:CH-9000099-WW
CORSAIR MM200 - Cloth Mouse Pad - High-Performance Mouse Pad Optimized for Gaming Sensors - Designed for Maximum Control - Medium, Black- Yellow Stripe, Model:CH-9000099-WW

Pros: -Blazing speeds

Cons: -Blazing speeds

Overall Review: I've never owned a faster mousepad. The moment my mouse hit the material, it was gone - like a DeLorean in the 80s. All i had left was a trail of fire where my mouse once was. Every once in a while i'll have visions of events that it must have been responsible for in the past, things i'd always known to be true, but somehow I know it's not the true past.

GIGABYTE GM-FORCE M7 THOR Black 5 Buttons 1 x Wheel USB Wired Laser Gaming Mouse
GIGABYTE GM-FORCE M7 THOR Black 5 Buttons 1 x Wheel USB Wired Laser Gaming Mouse

Pros: -Has 5 buttons -All buttons still work -Has wheel -Wheel still works

Cons: Only cons i know of are in office

Overall Review: I bought this 5 or 6 years ago, and generally have issues with mice by now - i've had none. It's had zero issues, and functions as flawlessly as i can expect.
