it works, sort of6/24/2018 3:56:16 AM

Pros: Low Price

Cons: The range listed is 164' but it's more like 30 at best. I get a lot of static even after troubleshooting. Doesn't support Aptx Not good for headphones

Overall Review: I have been using Tripp Lite surge protectors for years and they are usually high-quality reliable products but looking back the price should have been a clue to the quality (or lack of quality) I purchased this BT adapter to connect my new Sony - 1000XM2 headphones with my 3-month-old custom built PC. The headphones are the latest top of the line BT headphones and they work perfectly with my Samsung 6s edge plus with no static or range issues. I get about 40-50 feet connected to my phone with a direct line of sight in my backyard and the sound quality is outstanding but when connected to my Windows 10 x64 systems with this adapter the sound quality is horrible with static that gets worse the further you move away from it. I have tried it on both of my PCs. One system is a 2 years old (6700k MSI M7) and my new 3-month-old system (8700k EVGA classified z370) I have spent hours trying to troubleshoot and while I have been able to get it a bit better than when I first installed the adapter still has static that gets worse and worse the further you move away from it and the range is nowhere near the advertised range. the lack of Aptx support is also another letdown for a class 1 device. I would not recommend this product.

works as advertised, easy install a great deal at the price I paid4/16/2018 6:54:46 AM

Pros: under 30 bucks! Very Easy setup. fast and stable connection.

Cons: I uninstalled the included software right after I checked it out.

Overall Review: Great product at a great price. it was connected to our wifi within 60 seconds of plugging unit into usb port. I recently signed up for Fios gigabit connection but we have the PC in the living room connected to the wifi and it had always been a problem when we had comcast so when we finally got the faster Fios service I upgraded the wifi adapter to take advantage of the faster speed and I was not disappointed. Went from 150mbs to 700+ connect with actual download and upload speeds are 300-400 mbs. It's worth every penny

not as user friendly as other motherboards4/2/2018 12:46:34 PM

Pros: *Nice clean design with minimal bling but has a couple of RGB headers to support it if you're into that. *Well laid out, it doesn't feel cramped at all. *I'm really enjoying the Creative Sound Core3D audio, it's the loudest and clearest audio I have ever heard from any motherboard and the software is great allowing you to tweak everything to find the best sound for you. The connector for the headphone port are really solid you can feel a click when plugging in letting you know it's connected and its a solid connection. This was a major deciding factor for me because my last system had really bad audio with real bad port that never seem to have a solid connection. *The 3 m.2 slots allow raid array configurations which may be overkill but I love the fact that the hard drive is no long a bottleneck in my system *plenty of USB ports on on the rear panel and 3 internal headers to support front usb and a AIO water cooler

Cons: **The bios... This is a big issue for me, its not as user friendly as other motherboards. There's a large learning curve and not as many options for tweaking not just overclocking options but even some of the most basic options like turn off the full screen logo I haven't found that option yet I am hoping to as the logo is ugly and I prefer to see the stats on boot up. *Creating a bootable raid array took a while. I had 2 intel 760p m.2 drives and while I was eventually able to create the array I forget how long it took in the bios because I could not get windows 10 installed at first even when feeding the OS the driver and it recognizing the raid controller properly. The issue I found was that I had another sata drive connected for file storage that I had to disconnect before windows would see the raid. Now I have created raid arrays on many other systems without this issue so I'm not sure what the issue was but it was a bit frustrating. The good news is that the drives preform better than any other array I have ever tested. *Overclocking this board is a bit confusing and I have only had the board a couple of days and only had a few hours to spend on it I hope to have it worked out in the next couple of days but the learning curve is a con for sure. * included accessories or lack there of. At this price they could at-least include a quick connect for the front panel header, there are 6 SATA ports but only 2 SATA cables, even the software CD doesn't include all of the software, you need to go to the site to down load the tuning utility which in my opinion is almost as bad as the bios . *Killer E2500 NIC with DoubleShot Pro, this another one of the reasons I purchased this board but it's all hype no substance. My old MSI m7 had higher connection rates. I have Verizon fios gigabit connection with 850-950 upload and download speeds with the MSI M7 but only 650-750. what a major disappointment. I had hoped it would allow me to download from 2 different sites at the same time but it doesn't work that way,

Overall Review: My build is almost all EVGA. I purchased this board to go with the DG-86 case, the 280 CLC AIO, and the 1000g+ PSU I purchased last week and a EVGA 1080 SC 2 video card I purchased last year. The video card has been great but I am not as impressed with the rest of the products. I will be spending more time with this board (and the rest of the build) this week and will update my review later in the week but as it stands I would probably send this board back and get something else even though the on-board audio is really good I could get an add-on card that would do just as good if not better

It doesn't feel like an accessory but a quality piece of hardware3/19/2018 8:49:09 AM

Pros: This keyboard is a Solid, well made piece of equipment I have been using it everyday for 2 years and it still looks and preforms like new. It doesn't feel like an accessory but a quality piece of hardware that is just as important as my video card or CPU because it is of such high quality. The macro keys are awesome for gaming. I find the 3 profiles very handy for configuring options for different games and working with apps. The RGB lighting has 4 levels of brightness or turn it off. Even though the software is not the best I still manage to change the lighting for each key, highlighting important keys for the game (or app) I am playing and again being able to save to my profiles and then reload the configuration with the press of a button when needed is more than convenient it's a must have for me. I love the feel of the keys and I am confident when typing or using the macro keys in a game that the key I am trying to hit is depressed thanks to the short actuation and the tactile response from the keys for me this is a very important feature as some of my older keyboards did not respond so well resulting in missed assignments.

Cons: The software is not the easiest to work with but in the end it does work. I think it's been unfairly slammed in other reviews but I can understand the frustration when you have to deal with software thats not straightforward. My personal gripe is really my own misunderstanding of the MX keys. I find the keys a little loud but I should have spoken to customer service before purchasing to find out which MX keys would be best for me.

Overall Review: I love this keyboard and after 2 years of use it has really stood up against all kinds of abuse including spilled coffee, soda, beer and with over 3,500 hours of run time the keys and lighting all work just as well as the day I took it out of the box. if you're looking for a keyboard to surf the web or play words with friends this is not really for you. If you are a serious gamer or need macros for your apps this is a great option. Yes you will need to take 30 mins to an hour to learn the software maybe find a YouTube video that explains it but it does work. I am getting ready to build a new system and I am purchasing all new hardware except for the keyboard which I will be keeping when I pass down my old system to the kids which is saying a lot. In the past I have replaced my keyboard every 6-9 months because I am really tough on them or I just get tired of the same old shi++y keyboard. I have to say this is hands down THE best keyboard I have ever purchased and I have spent more money on some of the others and gotten far less.

Update after 2 years of daily use I have to lower my rating3/14/2018 11:36:31 AM

Pros: Two m.2 slots with raid support is awesome. I have two Samsung 950 PRO 256GB running in raid 0 and it's insanely fast. The AMI Click 5 BIOS is the best BIOS I have ever worked with, Period. It is very smooth going through all the settings from page to page and from easy mode to advanced. I have no problem using a wireless mouse in the BIOS which has been an issue in other systems Great overclocking options for any user no matter your experience level I don't overclock much, I would rather have my system run for 10 years than have it burn out quickly but I was able to get very stable overclocking using Game Boost I easily got my 6700k up to 4.5 GHZ and my ram up to 3200 using game boost level 4 and XMP. The system ran stable for weeks until I updated the bios (see cons) I love the ability to reset the bios using the button on the motherboard or the button on the rear I/O panel which means you don't have to open the case if you don't want to. The layout of the board is great there is plenty of room around the CPU for my Corsair H100i v2 it was easy to connect almost everything I needed. I also love the hardware monitor and the ability to tweak the fan control love the look of black and red on the board and the rear I/O panel.

Cons: Update after 2 years of daily use I have to lower my rating and would not recommend the board. The issues that started with the bios upgrade got worse and worse. After getting the bios loaded there were other problems arose. The over all speed of the system slowed then I could no longer create raid 0 with 2 m.2 drives. Each firmware upgrade seemed to create a new issue it's got to the point where it's no longer aceptable for my purposes. old review Because I am using the Corsair H100i v2 which uses one of the USB ports I can only have 1 set of USB ports on the front panel of my case. I'm not sure I can blame MSI for this issue but the board is made for gamers who overclock and use water coolers it would be nice to have another internal USB port to fully support us and round out the board. I am currently having Issues upgrading the BIOS. I was unable to get into the setup after the initial setup but windows seems to be running fine. I'm still waiting to hear back from MSI support but I mention this for full disclosure I'll update as things progress Those are my only issues

Overall Review: I am giving this system to the wife she's not a gamer and doesn't care about the PC she uses as long as she can play words with friends :)

rock solid using XMP and manual OCing for the last 2 years3/14/2018 11:10:08 AM

Pros: This memory has been awesome in my various OC profiles as well as XMP. I have it paired with the MSI z170 M7 motherboard. I wouldn't recommend the motherboard though. With a lifetime warranty I couldn't have asked for anything more.

Cons: None

Overall Review: This was been my first G.skill memory purchase I usually get Corsair but after using some other G.skill products and noticing what great quality they are I decided to give the memory a try and I am glad I did it was a great deal but Wow when I purchased this memory in march of 2016 I didn't realize it would more than double in price or I would have bought a lot more lol, thankfully I purchased 32GB and I won't need to buy any more for my new build just downgrade the old system. 32GB is overkill really.

not worth the money4/10/2017 10:35:36 AM

Pros: at 15' it's long It looks and feels like quality (but it isn't)

Cons: There were issues with the cable that caused my monitor to flicker on and off after replacing the cable my monitor is now working fine

Overall Review: look elsewhere for a good quality cable

WOW. you have to get one!1/13/2017 8:02:53 AM

Pros: Price...I remember paying almost $300 for a 128 GB SSD when they first came out and thinking how great it was lol and the speeds were 1/4 of this beast. Compared to those first SSD drives the 950 pro looks like the best deal in storage ever. Random read/write 205940/74583 SEQ Read/Write 1984/936 Widows 10 loads in about 5 seconds after post. No bull Installed windows 10 on a new build with no issues at all.

Cons: I didn't buy 2 but I plan on rectifying this issue soon :)

Overall Review: this review contains no bull, no fluff, no advertisement. I did NOT get the drive for free. I paid 181 and I couldn't be happier. I hope to be getting another card next month to run these bad boys in raid 0 which should be just redonkulous. I am used to being let down by the advertised drive speeds when they are put to the test but Samsung has really hit a home run with this drive I can't wait to see what the future brings with new m.2 and u.2 technology My new build created March 29th, 2016. I love it11/25/2016 10:39:40 AM

Pros: Big beautiful image when gaming. Can work with multiple windows when working.

Cons: none that I can see except for maybe price but you get what you pay for.

Overall Review: The image on this is really awesome. I have nothing bad to say about this monitor but I can tell you due to the high price I had buyer's remorse right after I hit order but once I received the monitor and hooked it up I was completely happy with it. I was running it with a EVGA 980 Ti hybrid and I had no problems at all.

Thanks for the heads up4/28/2015 10:05:22 AM

Pros: I found out before I bought one... New Egg has the best user community, nowhere else can you get user reviews and advice from such knowledgeable group

Cons: none thankfully

Overall Review: I am browsing for my new build and was going to pick up this unit I always go with Corsair so I would like to thank everyone who posted. Looks like Corsair is having some QC issues with this model so I'll be buying something else And no it's not normal for any company to have this many DOA units. The power supply is the one item you want to be sure you spend a little extra time researching and extra money on to make sure you get a quality model because if its not able to do its job you could fry all your new equipment before you get a chance to load your OS

Simply Awesome7/11/2014 7:34:28 PM

Pros: Great power per channel Very easy auto setup that sounds amazing The HD surround sound is the best sounding setting I have ever heard. This system is worth every penny.

Cons: The only con I can think of is that the large remote doesn't control any of my other equipment but to be fair no other system that I know of includes a remote that does

Overall Review: I purchased this from BB for 100 less and after checking prices online after the fact I can't believe I got such a great deal. I think the price on Newegg is $100 less than other online retailers so this is a pretty good price as well. This was a last minute purchased when I bought the Xbox one and realized my old Onkyo only had 2 HDMI ports and I realized I needed a better receiver so I purchased what looked like the best specs for what was a great price. I plugged everything in as it was labeled on the back. I thought it was pretty cool to label the HDMI ports so you get the best performance and after running the auto tuner using the included mic set it to high-def theater mode. after reading the description I had to try it and I was not disappointed. I was up and running in about 20 mins from the moment I opened the box until the auto calibration completed with everything plugged in and ready to go. The movies I watched that night were movies that I had seen before but with this system it was a completely different level than anything I have heard before and the HD setting actually improved the movie experience and I heard things I had never noticed before. My old system was a 5.1 and I was still using the same speakers (I have not purchased 2 new fronts yet) but the old speakers sounded so much better on this system it was like night and day and Sony had lifted the cloak and brought me into the daylight. As you can tell I really love this system I'm not an audiophile but I do recognize quality when I see or in this case hear it. You will not be disappointed with this purchase. With 165 watts a channel and 4k supported and up-converted you can't beat it for this price and with these options its a no brainier, just get it :)

Have been rock solid for almost a year4/13/2009 8:04:42 AM

Pros: Have been rock solid for almost a year

Cons: None

Overall Review: I have them in a MSI K9A2 Platinum 790FX Motherboard and they have been running great but after upgrading to Vista I need another set and after reading the negitive reviews I was a bit shocked. This memory is running awesome for me I can only guess that others are having issues due to incompatabilities but it works great with the MSI K9A2 Platinum

Quieter than I thought it would be2/24/2009 4:53:27 PM

Pros: Big fans, nice and quiet. Well ventilated I like the front panel with everything at the top for easy access works great for me. Removable cages work well It looks good even though I'm not really a big fan of lights and see-through side panel some cable management and the case wasn't sharp enough to cut me or maybe I just got lucky :) Overall the build quality is good

Cons: Not enough room for me. I was coming from an old Antec server case with plenty of room, this case feels very cramped.

Overall Review: I bought the case in April/may of 2008 and I wasn't sure I was going to like it because of the vents and lights and the side panel but at the time the price was right and I really like the front panel with everything right up top. Beside the fact that it's little smaller than I would like I really have no complaints with the quality of the product. Its not that small though, there is enough room to get my my 8800gt, 3 HDDs and 2 DVDs but everything is a bit tight. the CORSAIR CMPSU-650TX 650W PS fit with no issues and reach everywhere with no problems. Antec had some problems with the fans I guess and just in-case there was an issue they included 4 extra in my box. I haven't had a problem with the original fans and I was able to mount 2 of the extra fans to really air the thing out and the fans are all high quality fans that are very quiet. For the money I don't think you could do better. And kudos to NewEgg for timely shipping and excellent customer service

Save your money5/11/2007 8:48:10 AM

Pros: lightweight

Cons: It only holds a charge for a couple hours then you have to switch to a wired set. this unit causes feedback for other people and these do not work with some of the controllers that came with the xbox 360 you may need to buy a new controller to get it to work, I did and it still causes all kinds of feedback. I wish I could just get my money back.

Overall Review: Very poor showing for Microsoft with this product I expected better

hey this thing ain't bad8/30/2006 6:41:58 PM

Pros: Works great - great price.

Cons: connects to my Belkin-g router at about 43mbps most of the time hasn't connected at 54Mbps yet but its not really a big deal for me.

Overall Review: I had no real problems setting this up I plugged it in before turning on windows which found it and loaded the driver from the Cd and I used windows to set it up and its been up and running everyday for about a month and hasn't dropped connection yet and I should mention the router is about 60 feet away through a few walls and a couple of doors.

I'm impressed6/23/2006 9:52:09 AM

Pros: Sharp and bright picture good looking design Price! the price is great for the quality

Cons: No height adjustment but I knew this when I bought it and it has not been an issue Would like to see a 21" wide screen model :)

Overall Review: I use a 20" CRT flat screen at work all day and had a nice 19" CRT which cost me four hundred or so just 3 years ago. So when it stated to go south I knew I wanted a flat panel but wasn't sure about the quality of LCD displays especially for gaming. When I saw the BenQ with these features at this price I couldn't pass it up and I am glad I didn't. I have been playing oblivion and EQ2 mainly and watched a few DVDs and I didn't notice any ghosting at all, NONE! I am really impressed. and I have to tell you after I ordered it I was feeling some buyers remorse but as soon as I hooked it up and started playing oblivion my angst was quickly alleviated

Well worth the money2/22/2006 7:15:54 PM

Pros: Great picture. Great price Great Picture. Plenty of connections Really great Picture ;)

Cons: Remote could be better if it was universal but it works perfectly the clip on the back by the input connectors is to small and to close and can get in the way but its not that big a deal. I bought it from another online retailer and paid $100 more :(

Overall Review: I had my set for 2 months now and I couldn't be happier with it. I researched for a few months and wasn't really sure about Syntax but I am really happy I went with it. I have seen smaller sets from better known companies go for twice as much with half the quality. You can stop searching you have found a true value. I found it to be a little to bright and the color was set to high when I first set it up but after a few minutes I had it looking great. I have used it with Xbox and my PC and it looks great with both. I was really surprised how good my desktop looks on it. I have tried to connect my PC to other TVs I have had but the desktop and text looked so bad I just shut it down but this set is clear and not fuzzy at all. I have had my DVD connect via both s-video and then component it looks great on the s-video but its killer on component. I am looking to get a DVD player with hdmi so I can keep everything connected at once.
