Very Quiet! Worth Every Penny!
Pros: I purchased 9 of these fans... 6 for the EVGA DG87 case (replaced stock fans), and 2 for the Corsair H115i to replace the stock fans on the radiator, and a spare. The first time the case was powered with all of the fans, it was so quiet, I wasn't sure that it was even on! Under normal conditions, the wind noise is barely noticeable at all. But that's all you are ever going to have with these fans... wind noise. At full speed, the wind noise is no more than you'd expect with 8 fans @ ~2k rpm. The magnetic levitation of these fans eliminates mechanical or bearing noise completely, and the rubber dampers certainly help. But more importantly, they keep my rig hardware cool. Finally, to some, cost seems to be an issue with these fans. I consider this a small investment to keep my components cool. If you've spent a small fortune building a rad gaming rig, then these fans are the way to go. I needed a quiet work environment and I have it. I needed a cool case when overclocking, and I have it. And since I generally wear over ear headset when the fans are cranked, the wind noise is of no consequence.
Cons: Cost. This is the only con I reluctantly have. However, I'd have spent more to get the quiet performance that these fans offer.
Overall Review: I highly recommend these fans. Corsair has created a top tier product.
