Believe the Hype, best 140mm fan on the market

Noctua NF-A14 PWM, Premium Quiet Fan, 4-Pin (140mm, Brown)
Noctua NF-A14 PWM, Premium Quiet Fan, 4-Pin (140mm, Brown)

Pros: Quiet Powerful Good warranty High quality

Cons: None

Overall Review: I bought these fans to replace some Purewings 2 case fans. They were quiet but didn't move a lot of air with a max 1000rpm. The Noctuas not only lowered my CPU temps by 2 degrees Celsius but were even quieter. Impressive quality, it has a heft that feels very solid and well built. I see some people complain about the price but for what you get I consider it a bargain. If anything you get too much. The Low Noise Adapter seems a little redundant since you can set your fan speeds in the Bios and the silicon anti-vibration pegs were of limited use since they can only be installed in a mounting hole not a slot and you need open access to all four corners of your fan to pull them through the holes. Not that I think it's a bad thing to get extra hardware, on the contrary it just shows the quality of the company and its product. It's made a believer out of me. If you're in the market for fans, buy these, you won't regret it.

Amazing piece of engineering. Totally silent

Seasonic Flagship PRIME 600 Titanium Fanless SSR-600TL 600W 80+ Titanium Full Modular ATX12V & EPS12V 12 Years Warranty Super Quiet Power Supply
Seasonic Flagship PRIME 600 Titanium Fanless SSR-600TL 600W 80+ Titanium Full Modular ATX12V & EPS12V 12 Years Warranty Super Quiet Power Supply

Pros: Fanless 80+Titanium efficiency Long 12 year warranty

Cons: Only 2 SATA power cables. I would have happily gave up the 2 Molex cables for another SATA cable.

Overall Review: This is probably the best power supply you can buy. It's quiet and efficient, well worth the extra price. It relies on convection cooling (heat rising through the perforated top) so I wasn't sure if it needed a case that didn't have an enclosed PSU shroud. I played it safe and got a Phanteks Pro M with a perforated shroud just in case. Anyhow, the unit has performed flawlessly.

Best Cooling Fans on the Market

Noctua NF-A12x25 PWM, Premium Quiet Fan, 4-Pin (120mm, Brown)
Noctua NF-A12x25 PWM, Premium Quiet Fan, 4-Pin (120mm, Brown)

Pros: Pushes a lot of air for its size Absolutely silent New silicon anti-vibration mounts are much easier to use

Cons: Pricey Silicon anti-vibration mounts are 1 use only since they need trimming after installation

Overall Review: I used NF-A14 fans on my previous build and was blown away by their performance and quality. I got these NF-A12 fans for my new build and they're better. They move more air and are even quieter. I can only tell if my computer is on by the lights on the graphics card and motherboard. They're expensive but they're worth every penny. If you can afford them, get them and if you can't, save more until you can.
