Pros: Very well made.
Cons: Secondary characters like @,#,$,%^&*(<>? are not illuminated even though they are clearly illuminated in the photos. I called Logitech support after a long hunt for their phone number and was told that the keyboards with the GX Clicky Blue switches do not have this feature. I was told that the other 2 version of this keyboard do. So now I have to pay shipping and restocking fees of $30.00 to return it and order the one with linear tactile switches.
Very difficult to program.
Overall Review: I would not recommend this keyboard. Very disappointed.
Pros: Looks great, good quality
Cons: Way overpriced for the features.
Overall Review: There are plenty of cheaper keyboards with the same or more features. They could at least have included the software on a CD.
Pros: I have 2 more that work fine.
Cons: Wrie protected. Unable to copy data to this drive. Patriot tech support was responsive but unable to help.
Pros: Nice display while it worked.
Cons: I purchased 2 of these monitors and both failed as soon as the warranty expired. Same problem on both. They come out of STANDBY during the night and display a blue screen.
Power must be disconnected and reconnected in order for it to work normally. After a couple of weeks it no longer works at all.
Pros: Rugged, nice design. Good looking.
Overall Review: I bought this board after 2 failed Crosshair V boards. I haven't received a bad ASUS board in 15 years, then I got 2 in a row. Newegg was out of stock so I couldn't get a third Crosshair V. I ordered the Sabertooth and am very pleased. If this one had been defective, it would have been my last ASUS.
Pros: Nice design, great features.
Cons: The first one failed in 1 day. The second one was DOA.
Newegg was out of stock so I could not get a third. Very disappointed because I have used the Crosshair lll and lV on previous builds and was always pleased with them. That's why I wanted the Crosshair V
Overall Review: I finally bought the Sabertooth and it worked perfectly.
Pros: Nice design, decent price. Just pray that you don't get one that is write protected.
Cons: Unusable right out of the package. I purchased 2 of these and both are write protected. Cannot be formatted. They are totally useless.
Overall Review: In searching the web, I found that Patriot is aware of the problem and have an application to correct this problem. You must request this app via email. The problem is that they do not respond to emails or return phone calls.
Pros: It took only 2 minutes from the time I oened the box until I was online. Great item. Simple installation.
Cons: ASUS needs to include a short USB cable. Some USB ports are pretty close on some laptops.
Overall Review: Nice high tech design. Looks like carbon fiber.
Pros: I have been using this program for several years. I started with version 7 and upgraded each time a new version was released. This latest version is number 12.
It just gets better and easier to use with each new release.
Overall Review: I have used Ghost and several other imaging applications and this is really the best. I have never had to re-install Windows after a crash. With the Image Explorer feature, you can recover a single file or document if needed.
Pros: High quality. Good phone support.
Cons: Could not get a secure fit. I tried all earbuds and ear clips.
Overall Review: Returned for refund.
Pros: Excellent price, works just as well as Linksys, D-Link or other popular brands. It takes less than 5 minutes to install and set up.
Overall Review: I have purchased and installed 5 of these adapters in the past year and never had a problem.
Pros: Price, price, price
Overall Review: Went to Radio Shack first and the same cable was $50.00. I ordered from Newegg for $5.99. The 3 day wait was well worth the price savings.
Pros: Supported Phenom 9850 right out of the box. Good price.
Cons: First DIMM slot is so close to CPU socket that RAM must be installed before CPU cooler- even OEM stock cooler. Later if RAM fails or you want to upgrade, you will need to remove CPU cooler first.
Overall Review: I would purchase again.
Pros: After using these speakers for 3-4 days the power switch stopped working. They sounded great when I was able to turn them on.
Cons: Now I have to pay the shipping cost to return them, plus a restocking charge for a defective product in use for less than a week.
Overall Review: I won't try this brand again. Maybe Creative GigaWorks T-40 will be better.
Pros: I use these with my laptop. They are incredible! Excellent bass, even with no sub-woofer.
Cons: No cables included except power cord. A stereo cable is needed to connect speakers to computer and an RCA cable is needed to connect the right speaker to the left one. This required a trip to Radio Shack and another $12.00 plus gas just to hook them up. That's why only 4 eggs. The quality and performance deserve 5 eggs.
Overall Review: Even speakers costing less than $10.00 have the necessary cables included. You would think that for $129.00 plus shipping, the necessary cables would be included.
Pros: Cheap, never fails to be recognized by the motherboard. I've used this memory kit for my last 10 builds and never had a problem. Last week I ordered 2 and both were DOA. I think it's a bad batch. Too bad I had to pay a restocking charge. I doubt that I'll use this brand again.
Cons: Restocking charge for RMA
Overall Review: I'll try Corsair Value Ram as a replacement.
Pros: I have built about 10 systems with this processor and never had any issues. With XP and 2 GB of RAM it makes a great low cost system.
Overall Review: To process tech: how do you review a product that you have never owned and have no experience with? Just wondering...
Pros: Beautiful, excellent value, no dead pixels. Easy to configure.
Overall Review: I was a bit concerned, that some reviews said you can't see the POST screen when using the HDMI mode. I called ViewSonic support and asked about this. They said this sometimes happens when using a low end video card. I have an 8800GTX, so this was not an issue for me.
Pros: Well built, sturdy, nice looking.
Cons: Worst case design, I have ever seen. Very bad layout. 8800GTX card hits the hard drive case. Power supply hits lower fan. Cables do not reach some connectors on motherboard.
Overall Review: I am returning this. You can't beat the CoolerMaster Cosmos.
Pros: Typical excellent Cooler Master quality. Great value for the price.
Cons: I did not care for the hard drive mounting trays.
Overall Review: This is like a low budget Cosmos.
I would use it again for a budget build.
Pros: If you need dial up, you can't beat the price and performance of this modem. Why pay 3 times as much for a USR that works identically.
Overall Review: I called their tech support to ask if there were Vista drivers available. I spoke to a American, without an accent in less than a minute. He directed me to the driver download.
Pros: Fast and very quiet.
Overall Review: I ordered 2 Samsung 320 GB drives. Both were defective with bad sectors right out of the box.I returned them and got these Seagate drives in stead and they worked right out of the box.
Pros: Nice looking, high quality basic no frills case. You can't go wrong for the price.
Overall Review: I have built over 10 basic systems using this case. It's very easy to work with using any mobo form factor.
Pros: Company reputation. Screws included, uncommon in OEM drives.
Cons: Bought 2 of these, both had bad sectors right out of the box.
First and last time for this brand.
Overall Review: I used to use WD hard drives, but they have a high failure rate lately. I have tried several other brands and so far, Seagate seems to be the best and most reliable. I just sent these 2 Samsungs back for 2 Seagates.
Pros: Clips hold ear buds in place. A great feature.
Overall Review: These headphones stay in place during vigorous activity. Very nice.
