Pros: This was the simplest install ever for a wireless printer. I did 7 computers (4-XP 3-Win7, 5 hard wired to router and 2 wireless) in less than 25 minutes
Cons: None yet
Overall Review: I made a mistake thinking this was a "Direct Print" printer. My bad. I have not and will not test the ePrint function
Pros: It works as expected. I have it wired to a wireless AP with a Gigabyte switch and all works fine
Pros: It works
Cons: Incredibly slow
Overall Review: So slow I just couldn't us it so I gave to a friend. I'm pretty sure he hates me now
Pros: It works very quietly
Overall Review: Whats the deal with 3.0Gb/s selling at higher prices than 6.0? Well, I bought this as a backup and put it in an older SATA external enclosure and it works just fine.
Pros: Almost perfect service for 4 years.
Runs very cool even under heavy load.
Cons: Only problem I ever had was from a Garmin GPS which need a straight connection to update.
Overall Review: I have had all seven ports populated for years without a problem.
Pros: It works quite well. It has never dropped a connection.
Cons: The flashing blue LED is really bright.
Overall Review: The only improvement would be the software. About 70%? of the time it fails to connect on a warm boot but has never failed to connect on a cold boot. My signal is stable but I have it on a desktop that is only 25 foot from an access point.
Pros: I bought mine in 2004. It has been plugged in and working 24 hours a day since.
Overall Review: Inflation?? I bought mine more than 6 years ago and paid just $12.99
Pros: It is only 25 foot from the AP and seems to work pretty well.
Cons: Doesn't always connect on boot up. Have to push the button to connect but once on it is stable.
Pros: Sturdy, well made, roomy and easy to work in.
Cons: Power LED connector is unlike any I have ever seen. Good thing I had spare connectors. You better have some or an exacto and some patience. Like many newer cases there is no speaker so remember to buy one if your MB doesn't have a piezo on the board.
Overall Review: Asthetics are nice but I always appreciate the mic and headset to be color coded. I ended up putting color dots on the face anyway.
Pros: Worked fine. Have not tried to overclock it yet.
Overall Review: CLOSE CALL Newegg shipping dept. put CPU in foam and in a plastic case. OK. But then they put this little plastic in a bigger box. End result was the plastic case opened and the CPU played BB in a box car. Pins were bent. Got lucky and on the third try got the pins straight enough to get in the socket. This was my first OEM CPU. I hope this is not typical.
Pros: Works fine with an AMD processor/Gigabyte MB
Pros: Did Blu-Ray 24P just fine
Pros: Worked fine. Tested all resolutions up to 1680 x 1050 on a Samsung 22"
Pros: 1080P/24P compliant at a bargain basement price. Video is perfect.
Cons: It didn't come with the winning lottery ticket
Pros: Quiet does what it is supposed to do
Cons: DOA?? Installed properly but the fan was hitting something and made a terrible noise. I had to tilt it to a 20 degree angle so the fan would not hit whatever it was hitting. It works fine but it rained on the first day and because of the angle it led water into the house.
Overall Review: This is a bulk deal so I cannot return it to Newegg for replacement. I have not called Sharp (it is July 4) so I do not know what they will say but I am sure it is not going to please me as I will have to do with out it for the summer.
Pros: I used it to backup my Samung Netbook. No problems. Good price for Class 6 memory.
Pros: No trouble installing in my Samsung Netbook. Boot time is 5-7% faster and applications load and run a bit faster. Although I have yet to work it hard it seems to run cool.
Overall Review: I loaded up the little Netbook with a lot of programs and I found that this is a worth-the-money upgrade.
Pros: Very nice in all respects. Great screen, touch pad is good but I bought a Bluetooth mouse that works great with it from Hong Kong from that online auction place. While this is no speed machine it is suitable. Boot is slow after I loaded MS Office, spyware utility and a bundle of other software. I can actually touch type the keyboard. Intial back up image program is a great idea and the recovery program backup/restore works well. It came with complete re-install disks which is a plus
Cons: Power supply is the hottest I've used. Hope it lasts. Initial setup has you partition the disk in half. I went along thinking that they may use the half as a full image backup. Nope! Perhaps they want you to split it in half for performance purposes.
Overall Review: Really happy with this little machine.
Pros: The product come with its own very basic capture. The capture software works but.......................
Cons: it only works with its own capture software. It comes with Ulead software but you cannot use Ulead to do the capture. You cannot use MS Movie Maker or any other software. Ulead will capture exactly 11 seconds and then you get a message stating the no device is attached.
Pros: I has a lot of features and appears to do what it is supposed to do. I have looked everywhere but can't find Detector test range so I how would I know for sure?
Cons: The first one malfuctioned out of the box. It started screaming about a Laser alert in the middle of nowhere and the only way to shut it up was pull the power. Newegg replaced it.
Pros: Simple, easy to use and makes a very good cup of espresso. This is an excellent value especially considering that it cost the same as 6 or 7 Starbucks cappachinos and mine taste every bit as good as theirs.
Cons: It comes with a joke. The joke is the frothing nozzle. It makes BIG bubble froth. This is not funny. Take it off and throw it away. Did not come with a steaming pitcher.
Overall Review: SteveBucks no guilt Mocha Cappachino: Put 3 bags of nutrisweet (the blue stuff) and one heaping tablespoon of Hersheys Chocolate Milk Mix in the decanter and brew the espresso. Steam milk w/o the frother (because you threw it away) by putting the steam tube deep in the milk until 140 degree. Then hold tube just barely below the surface to produce a pretty decent micro foam.
Pros: Easy assembly. Excellent articulation, both smooth and positive with not snap back. It stays where you put it. Landscape or Portrait. Very nice
Cons: It really is simple to assemble but I found the "follow the pictures" manual a bit annoying
Overall Review: I have six computers in the house and each has a fully articulating mount. This is so far above all the rest I have to give it 5++ rating. It truly is the best I have ever used. Tooling and tolerance is better than anything I have ever used. But this one. It is well worth the extra bucks
Pros: I bought it at Newegg (thank heavens)
Cons: DOA. It ran one POST and stayed up long enough to format a disk but died on the next reboot. I now have had 4 of 5 Gigabytes die. Must be me? I only build 12 to 20 a year since I retired (at 50) but I have never had this many die so quickly.
Overall Review: I made the switch to Gigabyte because the reviews were very upbeat. I now have 5 Gigabytes in the house. Of the five, three have died. One at 11 months, one after 50+ days, and two DOA! To add insult I got one back from RMA service and it was not repaired. It had to go back. Gee, they pay for the shipping the second time. Woopie!! Now if they would only pay for the time and aggrevation. The last surviving board is 8 months old and is on only 10 hours a week. It is just a matter of time.
I do value the user opinions and I believe them to be honest so I must have bad Karma or something. Here is my record. GA-MA69GM-S2H dead after 11 months, MA78GM-S2H dead at 50 days (returned to me not working), another MA78GM-S2H DOA, MA78GM-S2HP DOA (a Christmas build project so Gigabyte is the Grynch that stole Chrismas). I give up on Gigabyte but I hope you all have better luck than me.
Pros: Cool is the word with so many fans but in case I OC it also has holes to accomodate water cooling. Very nice looking highly functional easy build. When you are done it will bring a smile to your face.
Overall Review: This is a pretty big case. Check the dimensions before you buy
Pros: Hey, its memory.
Cons: I did not do my research. This 1066 memory will not work with AMD in dual channel. This is an AMD CPU limitation. So it is 800 dual or 1066 single. Looks like I left some money on the table.
Overall Review: Life goes on and I am still kicking (mostly myself though)
