Pros: Lots of power for a great price. I've always used XFX graphics cards and since my current PSU was going out I decided to try theirs. So far so good.
Cons: Cables. Everywhere. I know it isn't modular but it is impossible to have some nice pretty cable management with this thing. The main board connector was the only one that comes with a braided cover so the other cables are a little ugly, but it works.
Overall Review: Got mine on sale with a $30 rebate as well. Great deal for the power. Drives my R9 280 great.
Would be great. If I got it.
Pros: Sounded like a great deal but Newegg's site didn't seem clear on how I should have ordered the coupon along with the item.
Cons: Tried to chat with a tech but he said it was part of a combo deal. The way I read it, I could have gotten either a Phenom II processor, or a video card, or both in a combo and would be eligible. I purchased a Phenom II X4 which was on the list of acceptable products but didn't realize I needed to also add the item for the coupon to the cart as well. Ordering process doesn't seem organized. If there was an item that qualified for the promotion, why would a customer also have to add the promotion on to it. Its kinda like having a sign that says free bacon sandwich, you order a sandwich but it arrives without bacon, and then they say, "Well you didn't say you wanted bacon on it". I've sent tickets into both newegg and AMD. Hopefully something good will come of it. And yes I'm hungry for bacon.
Overall Review: I Love Newegg and was really excited about the deal so hopefully someone can help, but it's not looking good.
