Great motherboard
Pros: -All the ports and headers you could need, including dedicated water cooling spots. -Excellent VRM. -Thick heatsinks everywhere, including for the m.2 slots. -Audio is good. -Easy BIOS flash, decent UEFI. -Classy RGB, the bit on the shield could actually be a touch brighter. -Absolutely beautiful, and very well made. -POST codes are very useful.
Cons: -Multiple RGB apps lead to watered down product, Aura Creator doesn't support this mobo. They could really stand to condense these and expand access to more devices and user content. -Chipset fan blocked by GPU, though the temps aren't bad and switching to vertical orientation will solve this issue(once I get to the GPU cooling, anyway). This seems pretty common on x570 boards.
Overall Review: I love this mobo. I was waiting on a good price from newegg for a few weeks, got it, and couldn't be more pleased. Flashing the bios before assembly was a breeze, put everything together and it worked like a charm. The UEFI didn't make it easy to push my ram, but it wasn't difficult either. I'd enthusiastically recommend this board, the rich feature set is tough to beat at the realistic price point. Also, 20% off cablemod is a nice coupon. Now to start saving for Thor.
Stay away
Pros: Pretty
Cons: Fried all the rgb headers on my crosshair viii the first time I tried to use it.
Overall Review: Idk if it was wired wrong or what, but I would look for a better rgb controller if I were you.
Great case.
Pros: Big build area without being a massive case. Slick onboard rgb. Comes with three 140mm rgb fans. Great airflow. Great build quality. Ample room for cable management and some very nice and well machined grommet covers and such. Tons of room for a rad+fans on the top mount with running into eps power or heatsinks. The full glass side panel swings open on well made hinges, and the other side panel is metal( far better than glass on the ugly side, imo)
Cons: No notes.
Overall Review: This case was absolute joy to build in, for the first time ever I didn't think "I wish..." a single time. Highly recommend.
Strong cooler, good value(I'll explain).
Pros: Great design, both aesthetically and mechanically. Pump is silent. Fill port. Comes with 6 rgb fans. This is an excessive number for a 30mm radiator, but they can be used elsewhere in your system or sold to seriously defray the cost.
Cons: The vertically stacked outlet ports cause awkward tube runs. They're also very wide, in the orientation with the EK logo in the right place they interfere with my first dimm(crosshair viii hero).
Overall Review: I bought this to replace my custom loop because my old block wasn't performing, my gpu cooler is good enough that it doesn't need to be in my loop, and I was tired of fighting with my system to make minor changes. Overall I'm very happy with it and would recommend it to others, but the inability to install it properly without making one of my dimms unusable is going to cost it an egg.
Works great, nice display.
Overall Review: I was coming up from a mag27 1080 so I knew what to expect, including solid CS should I ever need it. Display is great, blacks are black and there are no dead pixels. The preset lighting modes are notably different from one another and are fairly useful. Included DP and hdmi cables are 6".
Perfect
Pros: Recognized right away. Fast. Nice packaging. Great deal from the Egg.
Cons: It didn't spontaneously quadruple in size in transit?
Overall Review: Definitely recommend. Enough space for Windows, all my drivers and core programs with plenty to spare.
Zero complaints
It was here before the expected date, great packaging, and the m.2 is excellent.
