Pros: Price; quiet; well made and packaged
Cons: None yet
Overall Review: Arrived in good shape; well packaged. Almost totally silent. Provides a easy to use utility to back up the rescue partition to DVD - a very nice feature. I tested it and it actually works. Inside is well laid out. Obvious care taken in cable management. Great box for email, web, etc. Think I'll buy another one.
Pros: We'll see how it works for personal use - I just ordered one. By the company that I work for is using thousands of these and they seem reliable.
Cons: We'll see.
Overall Review: These are NOT made by IBM. IBM sold their PC division to the Chinese years ago. If you have a HP printer that won't work with this machine, check your drivers. It certainly isn't IBM's fault. I don't work for IBM, but have worked for competitors; hence my respect for their products. This is not an IBM product.
Pros: Works as advertised.
Cons: None, as long as you do some basic research before you buy.
Overall Review: Speeds will depend on breaker and wiring quality. I can't understand someone giving this product a single star because he/she does not have the ability to understand basic networking.
Pros: Great sound, small footprint
Overall Review: Paired up with a CS1 center, PSW505 and 4 LX5 Pros (with the Linaeum tweeters). Any decent HT system needs a sub, so I won't knock the relatively weak bass.
Pros: Can't tell it's a refurb - looks and works like it's 100% new. We use it to Skype with our college student daughter, 1200 miles away...we are all very impressed with the quality of video and sound. Stand is well designed and works well on a desk or perched on a monitor. Great purchase. As usual, Newegg comes through with a great deal and fast shipping.
Overall Review: Having an issue with Windows 7 Ultimate (64 bit) and Skype. Not transmitting video. Transmitting sound, and receiving sound and video OK. Installed latest from Logitech's website. Haven't had a lot of time too troubleshoot, so may be me ;)
Pros: Great price/performance. Another good experience at the Egg.
Cons: No LFE in, but a workaround, of sorts, is documented.
Overall Review: Got a great deal, fast shipping, and good packaging from Newegg. At first, I lamented not getting the PSW12 but after a few weeks of my wife telling me how much she hates it, I decided it's a keeper. Works well in my setup:
Onkyo TX-SR706, Pioneer MC506 center, 6 x Optimus LX5 II Pros. I know...but this combo sounds great if things are configured right.
Pros: Easy setup, great sound, upconversion actually works fairly well
Cons: Remote is a bit lame, but I won;t be using it
Overall Review: Great deal and customer support from Newegg.
In all fairness, why do some people review products they don't own or know how to operate?
Pros: Good sound, when it works.
Cons: Had an issue with flaky power connection right out of the box. Left speaker failed after a month. Right speaker only works if I jiggle the volume knob just right.
Overall Review: Took the master speaker apart, noticed that the two large caps are all leaking (blown). May be related to bad power connection; more likely, bad manufacturing process. I cannot believe this is a true Klipsch product (it's got to be rebranded). Also can’t believe Newegg is still selling this P-O-S.
Pros: Running at 2.9Ghz for 3 months, not a lot of gaming, but lots of graphics. Solid as a rock.
Overall Review: Hi temps after an hour of HL2: 39C with stock cooler @ 2.9Ghz...
As usual, Newegg rocks.
Pros: 790GX chipset; HDMI out; overclocks well; reliable.
Cons: Buzzing from a capacitor for 5-10 minutes after powerup. Goes away after it warms up. Environmantal monitoring software doesn't play well with XP64 (driver occasionally fails to load).
Overall Review: IGP is OK for casual use, I threw in a HD 4830 for casual gaming. Hybrid crossfire not worth the time/money.
Pros: I like the heat pipes; system and CPU temps never exceeded 40C. Good performance, while it lasted.
Cons: Died after 3 days. CPU and memory checked out fine on another AM2 board.
Overall Review: Brisbane 5000+ @ 2.6 (I don't overclock), 4GB of OCZ DDR2 800 RAM, Windows XP x64.
Pros: Well made; great price; Newegg rocks
Overall Review: Went all cat 6 color coded cables for my GbE Smoothwall-based home network.
Pros: Cheap, functional
Cons: Software, throughput
Overall Review: Came up quick and easy.
Software is lame. No help function (Station List - what the heck is is PSM?). Doesn't provide the option to obfusticate the security passphrase.
Range is much better than my old DDWrt 'g' box.
Daughter's draft-N equipped Asus laptop reports excellent connection at 144Mb/s (I have not benched this) at 40' through 2 walls, obliquely. She hasn’t complained ;P
HP printer and my ThinkPad connect fine (g) at 20'-30'.
The 100Mb/s LAN port may become problematic as soon as you have more than a few n-clients...depending on what you’re doing.
Delivery was on time but the box took a beating (thanks UPS)...I took a chance.
Pros: Great construction, decent graphics, good ergos, great price (thanks Newegg).
Cons: Sorry speakers; touchpad could be more sensitive; bloatware (get rid of Norton and Multiframe right now). I didn't buy one for myself.
Overall Review: Bought this as a Christmas present for my college-bound daughter. She's happy (and very hard to please (PC-wise), so I'm happy.
Newegg is #1.
Pros: It works as an iPod should. I'm pleased.
Cons: Quality headphones and case should be seriously considered...
Overall Review: Shipped from southern California to Maine via 3 day UPS, and arrived a day early. This is all about Newegg.
