Good Value (at $530) for capable machine with Large screen

Acer Laptop Aspire 5 A517-51G-54GK Intel Core i5 7th Gen 7200U (2.50 GHz) 8 GB Memory 256 GB SSD NVIDIA GeForce 940MX 17.3" Windows 10 Home 64-Bit ONLY @ NEWEGG

Pros: Has the amenities and horsepower, and speed to handle all the basic stuff that a home use would want for daily tasks without lag. My mouse pad has zero issues, unlike the person who gave the one star review over a quirky touchpad.

Cons: None so far.

Overall Review: I can not speak to longevity, as i just received yesterday. Will update if anything else comes apparent or reliability becomes an issue.

Excellent Performer - Only used latest Firmware release

Netis WF2419 Wireless N300 AP Router Repeater Client All in One with 5dBi High Gain Antenna
Netis WF2419 Wireless N300 AP Router Repeater Client All in One with 5dBi High Gain Antenna

Pros: Range and strength is great. Maybe its the two antennas, but this outperformed my two other linsys routers

Cons: Software interface before update had an inferior look to it - but i am used to linksys and DD-WRT

Works Just Fine

Rosewill RKV-2UC 2-Port USB KVM Switch
Rosewill RKV-2UC 2-Port USB KVM Switch

Pros: It works and has USB support.

Cons: Slight lag (1/2 to 1 second) when transitioning from 1 PC to the other.

Overall Review: Uses a physical Button instead of hot keys

Good Cooler - And Quiet

Rosewill RCX-Z1 Long Life Ball Bearing CPU Cooler with 92mm Silent Fan, Aluminum Heat Sink, Supports AMD Socket : AM3+ / AM3 / AM2+ / AM2 / 940 / 939 / 754
Rosewill RCX-Z1 Long Life Ball Bearing CPU Cooler with 92mm Silent Fan, Aluminum Heat Sink, Supports AMD Socket : AM3+ / AM3 / AM2+ / AM2 / 940 / 939 / 754

Pros: Cooler dropped my CPU temp (Athlon 64 3400+) from 55C with the stock cooler to 47C with the new cooler. Fan can be adjusted and can be very quiet - or can be turned up for max cooling. Size is not much of an issue because the square shape tends to work fine on may boards - unlike some high-tech coolers that can be awkward and difficult to install and work around in the case

Cons: -not cutting edge technology - but doesn't need to be.

Overall Review: As i mention, this is a basic cooler, but it works well
