Crucial BLWRISTSTRAP ESD Reusable Wrist Strap
Crucial BLWRISTSTRAP ESD Reusable Wrist Strap

Pros: Velcro- Everyone loves Velcro right.... NASA rocks.

Cons: Wasn't free shipping. How is it I bought $ 1,000.00 worth of components all with free shipping, this was packed in the same box and I had to pay $2.99 to ship????????

Overall Review: I did check the continuity before using on the advise of reviewers. It was fine. The wrist strap was a little small, fine for me but if you're a chunk you might have problems.

Started out fine but...

PLANAR PX2710MW Black 27" 2ms Full HD HDMI WideScreen LCD Monitor w/Speakers 300 cd/m2 1200:1
PLANAR PX2710MW Black 27" 2ms Full HD HDMI WideScreen LCD Monitor w/Speakers 300 cd/m2 1200:1

Pros: Great looking picture at first. Fantastic price.

Cons: After one month what looks like a thumb print smudge showed up to the left center of the monitor. After two months I have three dead pixels in the area around the smudge. Depending on the RMA process this may be revised downward.

Overall Review: Picture seemed a little washed out at first. Cycled through the color presets and found that the text setting made the colors really pop.

Corsair Vengeance K60 Black/Metal USB Wired Gaming Performance, FPS Mechanical Keyboard
Corsair Vengeance K60 Black/Metal USB Wired Gaming Performance, FPS Mechanical Keyboard

Pros: Responsive. Sturdy. The Windows lock key is a nice feature.

Cons: Would have liked to see more sculpted keys. Or the option to purchase different key sets for games other than FPS. Occasionally the keys lose their signal. - 1EGG I make a lot more typing mistakes on the standard keyboard at my office.

Overall Review: This is my first mechanical keyboard and what a difference over my twelve year old Dell keyboard that has been passed from one build to the next. I saw an immediate improvement in my scores on BF3. If, like I was, your a gamer on the fence about the expense of upgrading a mechanical keyboard it is well worth the investment. My biggest complaint about this keyboard is that the keys seem to occasionally loose their signal and it is frustrating to be moving back and forth in a fire fight and suddenly come to a stop. Easy fix just briefly take your finger off of the key and it is fixed but it is annoying and I never had it happen with the my old keyboard. I would have taken away more than one egg but like I said it doesn't happen that often.

Great Card

SAPPHIRE Radeon HD 6950 2GB GDDR5 PCI Express 2.1 x16 CrossFireX Support Video Card (OC Edition) 11188-22-20G
SAPPHIRE Radeon HD 6950 2GB GDDR5 PCI Express 2.1 x16 CrossFireX Support Video Card (OC Edition) 11188-22-20G

Pros: Replaced my aging 5770 ad wow what a diferance. Almost doubled my 3DMark Vantage and 11 scores without overclocking the card. Runs BF3 at Ultra and full AA with no problem. I cranked it up to the highest OC settings Catalyst would allow with no problems.

Cons: No Bios Switch. Can't unlock to a 6970.

Overall Review: On sale for under $ 200.00. I seriosly thought about picking up a second card at that price and running them in CF. After trying the single card I feel fine about waiting for the price on the 6XXX cards to come down even further. I can't see any games coming out this thing can't spank. Ordered the card on Monday and it was in my hands on Weds. Newegg rocks! Now if they could only get game pre orders out to us that quickly.

Awesome Bang for your Buck

Cooler Master Hyper 212 Plus - CPU Cooler with 4 Direct Contact Heatpipes
Cooler Master Hyper 212 Plus - CPU Cooler with 4 Direct Contact Heatpipes

Pros: Quiet Cheap After one hour of stress testing on stock cooler my 955BE was running 77degrees at stock 3.2 With Hyper 212 installed after one hour with all four cores at 100% and overclocked to 3.8 it's running at 42-44 degrees (I did lap it see cons) and it doesn't sound like a jet is landing in my game room.

Cons: The finish on the heat sink is horrible. It looks like they cut it with a band saw. - 1 egg Plan on doing some lapping if you want to get the full benefit of this cooler.

Overall Review: I had planned on lapping the cooler anyway but man was I surprised at how bad the heat sink was scored out of the box. It took almost two hours with only one smoke break at 320 grit just to get the gouges left by the factory out. So make sure you have lots of cold beer on hand. I have never seen a cooler with a heat sink that bad aftermarket or stock. If it wasn't so cheap it would have lost more than one egg but at $ 20.00 I can't complain about the extra elbow grease. It is large however it fit in my NZXT M59 mid tower case with about a 1/4" to spare. Just barely and I mean BARELY cleared all four RAM slots on my ASUS M4A785TD-EVO motherboard.

Old School Cool

ION Profile LP Turntable - Convert LPs to MP3s via USB connection to Mac or PC (Refurbished)
ION Profile LP Turntable - Convert LPs to MP3s via USB connection to Mac or PC (Refurbished)

Pros: Easy to set up. Software is simple to use. Sound quality of recordings is great.

Cons: Took off one egg because the conversion software is only compatible with I Tunes. And I would like to see some technology like Shazam that would identify and label the songs as they are being recorded.

Overall Review: Don't expect a TT1200. It is very light weight but works just fine. The packaged software does a pretty good job of separating the tracks but I have had some albums being recorded as one track. You have to manually type in the song names and albums but no big deal. If you're like me and have a closet full of old records you can't go wrong with one of these. How it holds up will have to be seen but with six milk crates of old albums and a line of people waiting to borrow the unit I will find out.
