Great Spacious mid tower
Pros: Great sleek aluminum case, with fantastic build quality from Lian Li. I personally love the blue fan on the front as it gives just the right amount of pop (even if it is a bit bright at night). The inside is very spacious, I had no problems fitting my build inside, even fits most larger graphics cards.
Cons: The cutout on the back plate of the motherboard trey was not large enough to install my Hyper 212+ without removing the motherboard. Also, the "tooless" clamps for your cd/dvd drives are pretty pathetic as well. Sure clamps them in, but unless you want constant vibrations screw those suckers in with rubber rings.
Overall Review: Overall fantastic case, with fantastic looks and no over the top frills. I picked it up on sale here at newegg for around $70, definitely worth every penny.
Decent, but not worth the headache
Pros: It's a nice wireless headset, and pretty comfortable on the ears although a tad heavy for extended use. Sound quality is excellent when music or movie/game audio is moderate to loud volume.
Cons: At lower sound levels there is a hissing and static sound, even when you finely tune the wireless connection. However, this is a trifle compared to the auto-shutoff circuit. To save energy, the base is designed to automatically shut off if it doesn't receive a signal for a period of time, usually 5 min. or so. This also includes weak signal... so if it's plugged into an extender you may be getting some high level good quality audio, but 5 min. in BAM! ear injuring loud static when the auto-shut off kicks in. This also happens when they headphones are plugged directly into my laptop, apparently that's not a strong enough signal to count either. These would be a great pair of headphones, possibly 4 eggs, but with this auto-shut off feature delivering unexpected ear damaging static I just can't do it.
Overall Review: I've had these for several years, and when they work they've been great, but man that auto-shut off feature... what were they thinking??
Great T.V. despite issues
Pros: T.V. works fantasticly and I was able to hang it with little trouble. The 3d effects are fantastic although occasionally a small issue will come up (see con). I really like the passive 3d glasses over the more common traditional ones, especially because you can reuse the glasses with the movie theater or buy a pack of them much cheaper than the shutter types. 120hz also makes for some great movement speeds (bit obvious perhaps) Sure it's CFL lit, but for the price it's amazing
Cons: I purchased this back in March, and I was worried off the bat because the packaged arrived open. The entire bottom of the box was ripped wide open, but no faults to newegg I blame UPS and forced the driver to wait while I inspected the contents. It came with a standard remote, not the keybord remote as shown, but I don't use the on board apps anyways so it's not a big deal. The 3D is great but sometimes in the corners something doesn't sync up quite right and it'll appear to be out of focus, doesn't happen often but can be irritating when it does.
Overall Review: The price makes it all worth it, I paid $510 and the price has dropped since then so definitely worth it despite the refurb.
Pros: This monitor is amazing! An IPS at a reasonable fantastic price. Also one of the few monitors still on the market with 16:10 aspect ratio, which is perfect for computer work in my opinion. I can't stand how narrow the 16:9 ratio looks. I was a bit hesitant on ordering because I hadn't seen in stores, but I had looked ath the 2410. The U2410 had a very aggressive anti-glare coating that really annoyed my eyes. Thankfully the coating on the u2412m is much less aggressive and just about the right amount in my opinion. The energy savings meter is cool, and the on screen controls are really easy to use. Fantastic purchase.
Cons: I really wish they hadn't done away with the hdmi connection, but once I get a display port cable for my 6950 video card, then I can get an adapter for the dvi connector. So it's a very minor con, not even worth an egg in my opinion, buy this monitor!!
Decent card, but loud!
Pros: This card has been fantastic, plays everything maxed out, and keeps reasonably cool compared to other cards I've had.
Cons: If you play anything intensive, the fans whirl up like a jet engine and can be really distracting. I was also rather miffed that I had to down clock the gpu from the factory overclock to have this card be stable playing Skyrim. In the future I'll probably save myself the $50 and grab a reference card.
Great printer for the price
Pros: The printer gives surprisingly sharp detail and prints extremely crisp colors. Also toners provide some of the best cost per page according to statistics.
Cons: It gets pretty hot during printing, hotter than some other laser printers and can be a tad loud. Also it lacks automatic duplex printing, but no other printers in this range seem to have the option either. Plastic casing is not perfectly fitted all the way around, which doesn't affect the printing but some perfectionists may be upset.
Overall Review: This is my first personal laser printer, and I went with brother both because it's what we have at work and after some research it seemed to provide the best cost per page for toner usage. I've only had the printer a short time, but have done quite a few jobs on it already, and I must say I've been very impressed. I picked it up on sale for $199 and it was definitely well worth it.
Slower than Snails
Everything was received as advertised, but taking 2.5 weeks to receive a blu-ray box set in this day in age hardly makes buying from this company worth it. If I had known they'd use the maximum shipping time as guideline I'd have spent the extra few bucks and tracked it down in a local store.
