Best. Mouse. Ever
Pros: The trackball is by far the fastest most accurate mouse I've ever used. I do a lot of video editing on my workstation and the mouse needs to be fast an accurate to be effective. For a wireless mouse the battery is unbelievable. It outlasted my last Logitech mouse by almost 4 months. Cleaning the mouse is easy a simple, wireless connectivity allows for a very long range with no loss. Hands down the best mouse I've ever used.
Cons: None to speak of
Overall Review: I buy a lot of stuff on Newegg and rarely if ever leave a review. This mouse totally warrents it though. I spend at a minimum 12 - 14 hours a day on a computer. I have one of these at my workstation at work, at home, and on my dock for my laptop. Once you become used to the concept of trackballs you will never go back. This is a high end mouse for those that really need the best of the best.
Absolutely Amazing!!
Pros: -Small Form Factor -Full Desktop Experience -Reasonably Priced -Low Power Consumption -Extremely reliable
Cons: Not so much a con of the product itself but the included keyboard and mouse are near worthless. I admit I'm a bit picky when it comes to my keyboards, and granted it's not any worse than most included keyboard and mice but still below my expectations.
Overall Review: Overall this is a great product! Like many people I'm not a fan of Windows 8 and was looking for an inexpensive computer to use around our office. As a Kiosk computer, or a computer to run web based software like we do it's fantastic. While you certainly won't be playing any graphic intensive games (not that I expected to with an Atom processor), the small form factor, great price, and rock solid reliability more than make up for what it lacks in power.
Best Card Reader Ever
Pros: -Sturdy Construction -Doesn't slide on the desk -Looks professional -Works 100% of the time
Cons: -None that I can find
Overall Review: I'm usually not one to post reviews, but when I saw negative reviews on this reader I had to jump in. I am a video professional, and use media cards every day, all day. This reader is on my editing station and I've had 0 problems at all. I am not gentile, or easy on my equipment, I expect it to hold up to my abuse and this has with flying colors. If people have had problems I can only suspect a lemon or user error because these things are built to last and work. Some users have complained about the price, it's listed before you purchase. I don't like buying stuff twice, in my world it needs to work the first time, and this does just that.
Vegas Rocks!!
Pros: Sony Vegas is probably the most capable professional video editing software available. I have worked extensively with FCP and anyone who still uses it hasn't tried Vegas. The software is easy enough to become familiar with, but also capable enough for you to make a full feature film. Paranormal Activity was edited exclusively on Vegas, it is defiantly NOT a beginners only software. If Sony keeps this up I defiantly see Vegas becoming a strong competition in the video editing world.
Cons: None
Pro version of Harmony
Pros: I come from three harmony remotes. I've been a long time user of harmony remotes but this takes it to a new level. Harmony is great if you just want the remote to work. This remote is great if you don't mind taking the time to set it up. This remote gives me the flexibility I have been looking for.
Cons: None so far
