Pros: -It's a cable that works
-Cable sheathing is nice
Pros: -Track pad is better than I thought it was going to be
-Set up is insanely easy
Cons: -Keyboard is a little cramped but that is to be expected
Overall Review: The programmable buttons don't work unless the Logitech set point software is up and running.
Pros: -Works with Comcast in my area
-No problems in signal strength
Overall Review: Don't let the cable installer talk you into installing the Comcast software after installation. It changed the settings and added bookmarks and toolbars of every browser on the computer and who knows what else.
Pros: -5 year warranty
Cons: -Loud but expected
Overall Review: Never had a WD die on me. Newegg usually does a good job packing hard drives.
Pros: -Sturdy construction
-Black finish is nice and hasn't shown scratch marks as of yet
-Cool rubber rings that stabilize each hard drive
-Fits into my case(600t)
Cons: -Impossible to install HDDs while the cage is install inside the computer
-Like everyone else said you'll probably need to install the hard drives first with a magnetic screwdriver and then slide it into the case
-It was a pretty snug fit in my 600t with a DVD drive above the cage
-White LEDs on the orange fan puts off an orange light(I knew this coming in but it would nice if Xigmatek had some different colored fans to choose from) I have 3 different colored LEDs in my case now...
Overall Review: Bought this item to put into my Corsair 600t drive bay so I could have an extra intake fan in the front as well as extra HDD space should I choose to remove some of the 600t's stock HDD trays. The drive cage fit after I removed 3 of the auto-clips on the side. In order to remove the HDD Cage from a 600t you will have to remove the entire front face plate because you can no longer reach the clips on the grill/filter spacers after you snap them in.
Pros: -Works with my Asus P8P67 Pro motherboard
Cons: -Was overpriced when I bought it and then while it was shipping to my house the price on the site dropped $25. I contacted Newegg support and they refunded me the $25 dollar difference. Thanks Newegg!
Overall Review: I seek vengeance when I try to fit these suckers beside my over sized CPU cooler
Pros: -Fast little sucker at a cheap price
-Easy to overclock on Air
Cons: -thought my motherboard was going to crush it when I was installing it
Overall Review: -I'm running at 4.6 ghz stable at 1.3v with a Cooler Master Hyper 212+.
Pros: -UEFI bios
-Overclocking is incredibly easy
-LEDs on the mobo to show where hardware problems are occuring(if any)
Cons: Had a problem with my board recognizing my memory and booting correctly from a cold boot (had to keep pressing memOK button when memory led came on). I reseated my ram and cleared CMOS and never had the problem again.
Overall Review: I recently updated to the 1053 beta drivers and I am running an overclock of 4.6 ghz at 1.3v.
8gb(2x4) Corsair Vengeance 1600mhz
CM Hyper 212+ CPU cooler
Evga 570 GTX
-Not as loud as my three year old Lite On
Cons: -DVD tray seems a little flimsy when you eject it
Overall Review: My last $20 Lite On drive is three years old and is still functioning
Pros: -Sturdy construction
-The amount of room inside this case is amazing compared to my previous Antec 900 rig
-A great quantity of space to hide wires behind the motherboard
-Fan controller is placed conveniently and works well with aftermarket fans
-Mesh like filters for the front and bottom intakes
-White LEDs are a nice change from blue
-Cable management is amazing
-Plenty of space for giant graphics cards
-Corsair is coming out with new side panels with a window and another one with mesh w/ fan mounts that you are suppose to be able to buy separately in the near future(check out their website forums for more info)
Cons: -One of the latches get's jammed every time I use it so I have to manually force it back up in order for it to engage again(not that big of a deal but still annoying)
-One of the motherboard mount screws was unusable(I unscrewed it and put another one in so very minor)
-Case runs hotter than my old Antec 900 on the three stock fans
-If you use the down facing PSU filter feature of this case on carpet your PSU is probably going to suffocate because of the lack of clearance
-Can't replace the weak 200mm fans with better 200mm fans because of their slim 20mm width measurements. You could put a bigger 200mm x30mm fan in the front of the case but you would have to remove both hard drive trays and roll with only one HD tray down at the bottom of the case.
-Turning up the fan speed with the stock fans does not result in better cooling
Overall Review: Antec 900 Temps:
GPU Idle:45 C Load:61 C
CPU Idle:32 C Load:46 C
Stock Corsair 600T Temps:
GPU Idle:51 C Load:71 C
CPU Idle:35 C Load:49C
Corsair 600T Temps with 2(120mm) aftermarket 3000rpm fans added with fan controls on High:
GPU Idle:47 C Load: Didn't write load temps down but the load temps were around 9 degrees cooler than stock
CPU Idle:32 C Load: Didn't write load temps down but the load temps were around 8 degrees cooler than stock
Adding the two extra fans made a huge difference on case temps so be sure to factor in new fan purchases. Not sure what the best configuration for the fans are yet so I'll have to play around with it.
With the addition of the new side panels with fan mounts coming out sometime soon I'm confident that this case will be dramatically cooler with stock fans and 1 side panel fan.
If you're not overclocking or running sli/crossfire I wouldn't worry about case temps.
Pros: -Very good temperatures. I installed a 120mm blue led fan on the side window which helped GPU temps
-4 antec tri-cool fans
-Everything still works 3 years later
-Solid steal construction: Survived many moves in the back of my car;not even a scratch
-Attached fan mount on hard drive bay
-Built to last
-Old design still looks better than newer cases
Cons: -No filters. Yes you will get great airflow in this case but you will also have to dust this monster out every month or two depending on your environment
-Little room for modern graphics cards: My old 8800gts barely fits in this case with the hard drive fan mount installed or with 3 hard drives installed in the adjacent hard drive bay
-Takes forever to install components with all of the thumb screws
-Cable management is alright but nothing to write home about
-Hard to reach fans made it a chore to change fan speeds with tri-cool fans
Overall Review: -I wouldn't buy this case if you wanted to run more than 3 hard drives with a bigger graphics card unless you're an expert at cable management and know the measurements of the components involved
-I'm upgrading to a bigger case because there isn't enough room for my new system and I really want some filters this time around
-I also grew out of the coolness of blue LEDs.
Pros: -Faster than some 7200rpm drives I own
-better quality than other 2tb drive out right now
Cons: - Needs firmware patch or you run the chance of losing data; if you know your way around making bootable disks then you'll have no problem updating the firmware. If you don't know how to make a bootable disk, plan on enlisting a tech savvy friend or putting aside a block of time to teach yourself
Overall Review: -I took an egg off for the firmware patch other wise the drive is great
-Newegg did an awesome job shipping this hard drive. Bubble wrapped with a box full of firmly packed packing peanuts. I did the free shipping option by the way.
-80 Plus Gold Certified
-Cables are more pliable than the cables from my Cosair HX520w
-On sale for under $100
Cons: -No cons so far
Overall Review: Came in a nice box/bag
Pros: -Quality feel
-Latch on one end for tight fit
-End cap for non-lactched end
Cons: -red is evil
Overall Review: Had a problem with a faulty sata cable causing BSODs so I switched it out with this one. Works.
Pros: -Large and bright
-Good looking modern design
-looks more expensive than what I paid for it
-Crisp picture and fast response time while gaming
-Huge compared to my old Samsung 226bw
-HD movies look gooooooood
Cons: -two dead pixels(not very noticeable)
-some backlight bleed around the edges
-annoying menu controls that are touch sensitive
-blinding if you don't turn down the brightness (even then it's still pretty bright)
Overall Review: -Got this for cheap during a newegg sale which pretty much negates the cons for me.
-Haven't had any problems with the power cord staying in
-menu controls aren't that bad but they sometimes don't register your finger touching an option
-the stand doesn't wobble unless there are some serious vibrations going on (like extreme bass, earth quakes)
-my desk allows for the monitor to be two feet away from my face; ideally I'd wish I had enough space for it to be between 2 1/2 feet or 3 feet from my face
Overall: I like it
-32 MB Cache
-$69 when I bought it
-1 TB of data
Cons: -Bubble rap was popped on one side of the HD
Overall Review: Can't go wrong with WD. I have had 5 WD drives over the past 8 years and none of them have ever failed me. I'm using this drive for storage and a caviar black as my main.
Overall Review: It's a blue cable thats 10 inches long.
Pros: -Easy to setup (used the suggested manual method suggested in the reviews)
-Works well, haven't noticed any speed drops
Cons: -none so far
Overall Review: My family has had the same model in their house for the past year and it hasn't had any problems. Range of the wireless is pretty good but wont extend out of house range.
Pros: -Long enough to reach my HDTV across the room
-Sound works well
Cons: -Does not allow for 1080p viewing. I have tried with my shorter stock vga cable and it will do 1080p.
-Upon closer examination there is a prong missing from the cable when compared to a normal vga cable. What that missing prong means I don't know.
Overall Review: Since I cannot view video on a 1080p screen, 1080p videos are squashed under the 1600 x 1200 resolution. Also I can't get the 1280x720 (720p) resolution to work. Could be unrelated to the cable. TV is a Samsung LN40A550.
Pros: Comfortable for short periods of time. Good sound quality. Long wires. Better than my $20 logitech headphones by far.
Cons: Can sometimes make your ears hurt after long periods of time. I have big ears if that makes a difference. Some of my videos have poor audio and there's no way to turn up the volume(not really the headphone's fault).
Overall Review: Shuts out a lot of background noise while wearing them
Pros: Works as advertised. Faster than my old 80gb ide HD lol.
Overall Review: Forgot to order a SATA cable when I originally bought this. Walmart does not carry them in my area. Office Depot charged $15 for a single cable.
Pros: It's long, cheaply priced, and it worked when I plugged it in.
Overall Review: I thought the clip protection boots would make it hard when disconnecting the cable from my machine but it's really not a problem. Will buy future cables from LD.
